  • I love the clean eating magazines. I also have recently gotten into poorgirleatswell.com and a couple of other sights. Would like to just get additional ideas :)

  • I really was thinking about the first of the year, but i've been thinking about sooner too. I'm so glad that you said that about the *7 minutes*. Thats so true! I'm going to add you! Hopefully we can set something up together to do this because I know in the long run my life is significantly more important than the *7…
  • I use to do it once a week on a Friday. Now typically, I do 2-3x a week in the morning. I don't worry about .5-1lb variations though since I weigh myself in that much..but i found for myself if was a good way to keep myself accountable. everyone's different though!
  • I began eating 1200 calories for about 3 months - never ever eating back my exericse calories, easily dropping almost 25lbs. Then when I hit the point where I wasn't loosing any more weight, I started to realize that I was working out and consuming not even 500 calories a day. So I started eating back the exercise calories…
  • I log pretty much everything, because its nice to see that things I thought that were no big deal before, are a big deal now! Before I'd go thru a whole bag of Lifesavers at my desk because I was bored..and now I realized that 2 are 40 calories! I'd be consuming calories that I didn't even think I was!
  • I really like her recipes, with that being said that I always seem to replace alot of things that she calls for. She likes to use alot of packaged products, while delicious, carry a ton of calories/sodium. So usually if there is something I can swap out for natural I do it. For instance, she has a great Buffalo Chicken Mac…
  • try changing your calorie intake, eating more of your exercise calories, changing some of your workout routines. I had this problem about a month back and that helped a ton! The change in cardio, doing more circuit training at the gym (kind like going from machine/exercise to machine/exercise) was super helpful in burning…
  • I originally wanted a BB, but for my anniversary my husband had purchased a HRM (Mio) and I really love it, other than the fact that I have to physically check my HR. I think for Christmas I would like a polar, but I think for now it served its purpose and wasn't a arm and a leg to purchase, or keep up with! :)
  • I love Cedar's Garlic Lovers Hummus, thats my snack with red/green peppers today! :)
  • Thanks ladies, its always nice to see what other things work and what don't with other people! :)
  • I've read alot about this, I think I'm going to look into it some more. Thanks! :)
  • Just to add, I'm not looking to spot reduce. Looking to do total body along with some exercises that forte in that area. I definetly know after all this time I can't spot reduce! :)
  • turkey meatballs, turkeyloaf, turkey tacos, ground turkey lasagna! since i discovered ground turkey I rarely use ground beef!
  • i use a camelbak and bring it with me all day. and always fill it up! i try to drink 5-7 of these a day!
  • This is how it has been for me. 30lbs went fast, approx 5-6 months. But I've been stuck on the last 20 for about 3 months, only getting 10lbs out of 2 months so its been tough!
  • 1. It gets better over time 2. Workout hard, don't waste time in the gym if your exhausted. It will just bring you down. If you need a break, take one! 3. Be motivated, set up a chart that has your break days, cheat days, and days your really going to go hard at the gym. 4. The second piece of sweets, or the McDonalds run…
  • I purchased 2 Camelbaks and they have helped me tremendously with the amount of water I drink! These are great on the go and I feel like I drink a ton more water when I have it with me!
  • I just read thru your diary, while your doing awesome maybe its just not enough? I know I started trying to eat more wholesome foods, even though they have a higher calorie count/fat count. For instance, I started incorporating avocado into my eggs in the morning. It was so hard for me to eat a huge breakfast like that,…
  • Thanks for all the helpful hints guys, but I'm so frustrated. Today marks one month of no weight loss!! :(
  • thanks, its frustrating to say the least. but just have to keep pushing thru I guess! :)
  • I don't depend on it, I just know what I want to look like and what I'm not looking like. I have a very large stomach that is not sizing down and a scale thats not moving, but jeans that fit a month ago not fitting today. Its frustrating when I have followed a serious strategic plan for 6 months and now its just not…
  • Thanks! Its so tough since I am so dedicated and I'm just not at the size/look/shape I want! I will try eating the exercise calories, even though it will be super tough since I think that since I just burned it I shouldn't eat it back LOL!
  • I have changed my excercise routine, adding strength training and 3x a week running, I was also quite similar to you sticking to a machine I liked but then I thought that possibly that was what put me in the position of not loosing anymore, but I definetly think the calorie in & out could make a difference.
