I do mini-sessions. Sunday I prep for Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday I prep for Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday I prep for Friday. It's not 'crazy' but I like to lick the inside of the microwave popcorn bag. I literally tear the bag apart in pieces and lick the 'coating' clean. Lol

Chicken is an easy protein fix. And really, for what you pay for a whole chicken to go home and cook it, you can get the same value with one already rotisseried at the grocery store. Boom. Chicken fix.

I completely agree with the 'bring a big dish to share' philosophy. And whatever is not consumed, take home to revamp for lunch the next week or whatever. There are plenty of 'side dishes' you can make a meal out of, or just go for the standard 'chicken caesar salad' side dish and double it. Who knows? You might bring…

I make my own fruit cups from time to time. Buy a honeydew melon and a cantaloupe, and red seedless grapes. Cut up the melons and distribute chunks and grapes into a couple different Tupperware containers and voila ~ breakfast for a couple of days.

I just bought a lunch crock pot (they have them on Amazon) that holds up to 20 oz. I use it to heat up canned soups and leftovers. I plug it in when I get to work, and come lunch time, no fighting over the office microwave because everything is at my desk. I also pack side salads and other snacks for munchies throughout…

I am in the same boat as you, and I would advise you to do "one week" at a time, even if it takes a month for you to be comfortable doing it, until you are comfortable to move to the following week. I have a rotisserie and I love using it for chicken, turkey, pork chops, roasts, etc. Set it, forget it, and throw it in the dishwasher when you're done. Luuuuuuuvvvvvv it.

Snoring is another factor. Good lord, that man can shake the windows! I've read its starting to trend having "separate spouse spaces" and I really don't think it would hurt our marriage. Half of the time I go to bed before he does and he gets up before me anyway, so really, its not like we are "spending time together".
