MFP + Facebook?

Has anyone connected their FB accout with their MFP account? Just wondering..

I don't intend to. I wish I could delete FB, but I've got too many friends and family there. It's the way we keep in touch.

    This.

Besides, talking about fitness stuff only agitates my regular friends. Here is where I wanna be.

No, FB is where I can find out what's going on with my family and so called friends (I do have some real friends on there, but we actually will call each other or see each other enough to speak face to face instead of using FB) MFP on the other hand is where the majority of my really great friends are (even if this is the only place I know them.) My MFP friends haven't let me down yet, the people I know on FB have, many times

I log onto MFP through Facebook because I'm too lazy to remember passwords but I have restricted what gets posted to my Facebook account and I talk about completely different things here. It's so much easier because after losing so much weight people on Facebook always want to know how so I can direct them to the links that do post to my Facebook wall

^ This. My (not-so-fit) friends think I have issues, so no.

    ditto :)
  • No. People already hate when others post their check-in's at the gym or when they've finished a work out.

I decided to keep them seperate. My family & friends don't want their news feed full up with my stuff from here.

I dont have anything to hide, they know Im overweight and am trying to lose it but i update them once a week anyway on any changes.

That is the worst math equation I have ever seen... it's like water and oil, I hope MFP runs as far away from Facebook as possible.

I only keep FB around so my family can see the kids pictures other than that I'm not very excited about it.

That's my worst fear so heck no. I shall keep them separate forever. If people want to be friends on both, that's fine but those sites will NEVER be linked

Right! Idk why it agigates people so much that fitness is top on my brain almost all the time! I love MFP!!!

    Nope!
  • No, I don't want all my FB friends knowing about my weight loss journey. I don't want all the unsolicited advice, etc from all of them. I would rather keep it here on MFP where I am a lot more anonymous and most of my "friends" on here are complete strangers. That might sound kinda strange, but it's easier to be completely candid about calorie intake, exercise and my weight with strangers than with people I know IRL.

No. NEVER. I hardly go on facebook now that I started using MFP. MFP is like a secret universe and I have no desire to introduce it to the real world.
