Don't be so hard on yourself. You went to the class and that is half the battle for me. I am almost 49 and went to a Zumba class. I couldn't do hardly any of the moves and found out that I have no rhythm. I just kept moving and sweating and by the end of the ten weeks I knew some of the steps. I will never be able to move…

As with any category, it really depends on the person. I have worked in rest homes where the nurses never left their chair. It is just another label. One size does not fit all. These are just general guidelines. A heart rate monitor would give you a better idea of what your body is doing.

I have bad knees so I just use the aerobics with 6" - 8" step. I don't jump but I stay moving.

When I am really hungry I go for watermelon. It fills me up and sticks with me for a long time.

When I start feeling like that I make myself move. Even in bed. Bicycle my legs, sit up and twist back and forth, anything to get it started. The more I move the easier it is. I keep one leg bouncing when I sit down. Any movement is better than none. Do you think you might be depressed or do you just really like your bed?
