I used to weigh myself everyday and would get too discouraged so now I only do it every 2 weeks - it's a mental thing for me - I'm only losing about 1 lb or 2 every 2 weeks so it takes me longer to see results. I also only weigh myself in the morning.

Thanks, Dizydaisy. You're right. 108 lbs. for a 5'4 frame does not sound very healthy. I was very thin growing up no matter how much I ate. That's why I feel that at my age, 125 lbs. would be good for me. Good luck with your goal as well!

Hi Jem. First day for me here as well. I'm looking forward to it! My friend has lost 50 lbs. since she signed up with this site and looks amazing. She is married, with a full time job and two children (same here).I asked her: How in the world did you do it? Her answer was: myfitnesspal.com.....so here I am. :)
