I use the measuring tape every 2 months. The scale has been discouraging me lately but when I see that I've lost inches, I tend to feel better about what I'm doing. Good Luck :)

I use MapMyWalk all the time and it records the path you take and how many miles you walk so you can constantly improve your time and distance. I also began using the Walk Away the Pounds DVD and went from 1 Mile to 3 Miles [Not quite ready for 4+]. You just have to start somewhere and pay attention to your body. I did too…

I have a long road a head of me. Keep playing with the same 2 lbs. grrr. Any advice to stay motivated? I need to stay accountable so I started using MFP again. Seemed to help last time. I started slow with walking 10,000 steps a day. Hoping for better success this time around.
