yes! i once worked in the floral department of a grocery/mega store. always had to fill latex balloon orders for people - i have always wondered how i survived working there without being commited :\ i'm also not very fond of spiders, clowns, and those creepy freaks who wear the full body spandex suits at sporting events.

Having used both for exercise and tracking calories - HRM all the way for tracking distance, steps and general movement the fitbit works I have a garmin305 and a polar fit 6. The garmin for running and the polar fit for when I need something small in the gym/bootcamp.

I personally would want to be there to make sure she only takes HER things and nothing else. To help keep that to a minimum, collect and box her things for her, so she cannot tromp around your place being a nuisance.

I participate in a bootcamp that is run monthly so that keeps me going every month even with this stupid cold weather. Also I have a half marathon coming up at the end of the month so I need to keep in the gym for the treadmill so that I have a chance of finishing with a respectable time.

My bootcamp offers a buddy day every month but with winter Fridays are outside and I only torture myself with 1 day outside I wouldn't want to do that to a new friend -lol- I'm allowed to bring a couple of folks with me, so when it's warmer if anyone is interested :)

It's a good thing to sign up for running room events so that you can get notifications about races early on. The Res Runs sell out pretty quickly. I have run it twice and it's really a nice way to end the year.

your fitbit will update your steps and calories when you're near your laptop and it's on. i never used the fitbit calorie tracking purely because i found the database to be very lacking and awkward to use. i always wore mine inside my pocket. don't wash it.
