Net calories = Calories Eaten minus Calories Exercised You obviously want to eat your 1200 calories or close to that. However, you do not have to eat back all your exercise calories. I average net calories of 800 a day, meaning if I eat 1200, I work out 400 OR I eat 1500 and workout 700... I suggest NOT eating back all…

I'd like to thank everyone for the overwhelming positive feedback! I really appreciate all the recognition you guys have given me. I'm flattered that you all see me as an inspiration and I hope this proves that it totally is possible to lose the weight! By the way...I only started shedding pounds after on month, so my…

I adjusted my carb protein fat percentages by increasing the percentage of protein in my diet. I was always going over on my protein according to the MFP percentages...but going over on protein is not a bad thing unless you are not drinking enough water. Another key to weight loss=OVER 8 glasses of water a day. I have…

I eat 1200 calories a day. I try not to eat my exercise calories back; however, I do eat some of them back on my intense 1.5-2 hour workout days. I never eat all of my exercise calories back though (on rare occasion at least).

I'm 5'4" and I started out at 151 lbs. Currently down to 126.4 lbs. :)

I work out a lot (I have yet to add strength training to my routine though...although my spin classes have some strength elements to it). So I zumba'd and spinned all summer. Then more recently I started running again and then I added some swimming. I work out between 7-9 hours a week and I rarely eat back my exercise…

Have a whole bunch of races scheduled over the next few months, starting with a 5k next Sunday. Then a 10k in September, a triathlon and 15k in October, and a half marathon in November. It's going to be an awesome last few months of the year. I'll probably do a marathon in December or January. So glad that I'm getting back…

Polar FT7...Just got it for my bf. Don't cheap out on a heart rate monitor. Most of the ones that are $50 tend to be inaccurate and require you to press your finger to them to measure you heart rate every few minutes. I have the Polar F7 and have had it for several years. I have never had issues with it and love it. If you…

I suggest eating a small breakfast before you head out in the morning. I usually have one serving of special k protein plus or cinnamon pecan with 1/4 cup of light soy milk. I run in the mornings and this has worked perfectly for me. Also drink two glasses of water before you head out.

I just bought my bf the Polar FT7 yesterday for $110 at Sports Authority.I have had a Polar F7 for the last few years and I love it. I've always bought polar HRMs my entire life and have had nothing but success with them.

You know what I do with it? I take 1/2 a tablespoon (YES ONLY 1/4 of a serving) and I spread it on a serving (which is half a wrap) of Joseph's Flax Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Lavash Bread and slice up have a banana and two strawberries (all thinly sliced) and lay the sliced up fruit on the wrap. Then roll it up. DELICIOUS! I…

I love Silk Soy Milk...in fact, I just started buying the Lite Silk Soy Milk. I use it for cereal. It's delicious!
-
My usual breakfast is 3/4 Special K Protein Plus cereal with 1/4 of soy milk. But the last few days I've been having half of a Joseph's lavash low carb wrap (which is one serving) and I spread 1/2 a tablespoon of nutella on it and put slices of 2 strawberries and half of a banana in it and roll it up. I warm up the lavash…

I am running a 1/2 marathon on November 6th in Clearwater, FL. Yesterday, I ran 10 miles. So I know I can definitely do the distance. Just working on my time. Currently, I'm running about a 9:28 min/mile. Of course that has a lot to do with the Florida summer heat that late in the morning. :) Good luck in your training. If…

Oh and as for exercise. I do zumba (1-3 times a week) and spinning (4-5 times a week). And just two weeks ago, I started doing long runs on Sundays. Adding the running in has helped get my weight loss moving again.

I am 5'4" and started out weighing 151. I am now down to 130.8 lbs. I lost this 20 lbs over just over two months. While I initially was not eating back my exercise calories, I have started to eat some of them back as I need the energy. I'm currently training for a marathon again...so Sunday I did a 10 mile run. I'm trying…

Just bought these yesterday...love love love them!!! Got it at BJ's.

And let me just point out that Ashley is doing awesome and looks like she's shedding pounds very quickly. Every time I see her she looks more tone and slimmer. I'm so proud of her! It boggles my mind that people actually have the nerve to suggest that "larger" people are misstating how many calories they're burning because…
-
That's because large people burn WAY more calories than smaller people. I have a friend that weighs quite a bit more than me and when she does zumba for an hour she burns over 900 calories whereas I burn 500. It's totally normal for her to burn more, she's moving a lot more weight and her heart has to work harder as a…

Oh and just to add to my prior post. The only reason it helped for me is that I take it in conjunction with eating healthy and working out 6 days a week for a total of 8 hours.. What it would do for you without eating well and working out, I don't know; but likely not much. Also, I drink 9-12 glasses of water a day.…

I have had great success with OxyElite Pro. Read up on it first of course. There are tons of reviews out there on it. But that being said, you do not need to take fat burning pills if you eat well and exercise enough. What this particular pill will help with is with controlling your appetite and giving you energy. The…

Bump :) sounds delicious!

Yes, it is safe. I would only be concerned if your heart rate gets in excess of 185 or so. Keeping it up that high could be dangerous for long periods. So just make sure to bring it down when you see it get that high.

I like making my own salad dressing. I usually put 0.5 t of canola oil, 0.5 t white vinegar, 0.5-1 t lemon juice, salt, pepper. Obviously, this is dressing for one salad portion. It's a really refreshing dressing and not so bad on the calories. I usually pair it with a salad including romaine lettuce, onion, tomatoes,…

You can definitely do this. I've trained for a half marathon in 2 months before...so I think you will be fine with 14 weeks especially since you can run between 3-5 miles without stopping as it is. I trained for a full marathon in 4 months and ran it in 3:50 (first time running a marathon). As long as you are dedicated,…

In the case that you are only doing cardio each time, it's not a problem.
