I roll morning, pre-workout, then before bed. Usually 5-10 mins each time. Most foam rollers are colored by hardness. The white ones are soft, so don't bother. I find high intensity intervals to be quite effective. I do kettlebell swings, 40 seconds on 20 seconds off for 15 minutes. I also find the term "Tabata" to be extremely overused and misinterpreted.

I say yay, but not everyone likes them. There are plenty of videos on youtube concerning their use, but, as always, be careful with youtube. Some of them come with an instructional dvd. If you use one you will develop a love/hate relationship with it. I use mine to help release my glutes and hip flexors.

I use Greens Plus. I like it. I use it because I don't eat green vegetables. It's not the greatest tasting, but putting it with something else usually works for me.
