Hmmm...I don't add anything sweet to my food or drinks, but I guess I am guilty of the odd delicious Diet Coke... which is packed with artificial sweetners. Does it still count if I substitute Diet Coke with Mulled Wine... No? I'll try my best!!

Hell yes!! That annoys me too! I NEVER snack on rubbish at work like all my colleagues do - instead bringing fruit etc. The other day, I baked some cupcakes and took them in...and ate one. Everyone looked at me in horror like "OMG! But you don't eat junk, you're a carrot cruncher!" and "You're our skinny office chick, you…

I will still log everything that passes my lips... but that won't stop me from over-indulging to the max... it will just remind me when I'm whinging in January about feeling a little porky exactly why that is... I am also going to exercise a lot more to make up for the food excesses... that's what I did last year…

Oh I am sooooo in!! I love everything to do with Christmas...but the food HAS TO BE the highlight! Sorry...but how miserable would it be to deny yourself on Christmas day!! You have 364 other days to do that!!! Totally going to be a greedy little monster with everything... but this is what I am most looking forward…

 I'm sorry to laugh.... I only can because I share your pain. I put mine in the washing machine (it was on the bed when I stripped the bed covers and washed them) ....sorry to share - but nothing worked at all....my boss was soooo unimpressed! So I cried... Then he felt bad and I got a new iPhone 4 when…

Perfect! I already did this first thing this morning. I'm working away and couldn't sleep. The hotel advertised a "mini gym" which I always think is a bad sign...but actually it was fine! It was the smallest room ever - just a single runner, cross trainer and bike - but clean, new and empty - so I got a good 40…

 Haha. Right there with you. I love pickles though!! The "hell no" food is EGGS! Bleugh! In any form...I hate the taste, the texture, the smell....

Seeing a photo of yourself is like hearing your voice on an answering machine or voicemail.... Do I really look that bad? Do I really sound like minnie mouse? I have got much better about having my photo taken recently now I am happier with my weight, but I must admit I still duck out of them at every opportunity.…

I absolutely love P90X! I was already pretty close to my goal weight by then - so only lost 2.5kg doing it - but the extra muscle tone was amazing...the first time in my whole life I dared to wear a bikini on holiday!! My other half did P90X with me too and got amazingly ripped from it, but not in too "bulky" a way, as…

I have no idea (sorry!)... but the other Beachbody programs I have tried are amazing - so I can see there being some truth in it!! Please do let me know if you give it a shot!!!

Wow!! These sound incredible!! We eat a lot of Oriental food, so I am soooo going to be looking into these!

I think the best thing about MFP is that everyone is supportive of each other, no matter what their goals are! I think the important thing to remember is that when someone describes their weight - they are reffering just to themselves and only themselves. They genuinley would not think anything less of you if you weighed…

Argh!! Dinner was going to be a yummy hot salad with roasted tomatoes, sweet potato and last nights leftover roast beef.... damn. Sorry, I might have to skip - I'm looking forward to it too much!! I will make an effort to do one meat free day this week though, how's that? (Very VERY tough in our house, other…

I don't have Facebook. Mostly, I feel like the only person in the world who doesn't have an account, so it's nice to hear there are a few more of you out there.... Mainly I refuse to get an account because I see people with 400 "friends"... I mean, come on - do you really have 400 friends? No, these are people…

Everyone in my company (male and female) is super casual (we are an outdoor/ski brand) so they usually just end up wearing our own product!! (ARGH! It drives me MAD!) I on the other hand wear flouncy dresses like a total prom queen! Screw them...It's Christmas, it only happens once a year!! Wear whatever you feel…

Haha  Sorry, but can they come and do that to my holiday snaps??

I am 5'9" and currently weigh 60.5kg (I think this is around 133lbs) My goal weight was 62kg but I wasn't quite happy so am pushing for a little more. I would say I have an 'average' frame. My lightest ever weight was 56kg and my heaviest 71kg.

Great job everyone!! Anyone who can run is a total inspiration to me. I seem to have a complete shut down once I hit the 5k mark... (I know some of this is psychological as well as the actual ow ow ow!) I will keep at it though - I've recently been told you have to run several times a week for 6 months before you…

 That made me laugh, so true yet said in such a sweet way!! Sending lots of Warm Fuzzies your way!

Yeah we got emailed about that this morning as our company have worked with her in the past  It's really horrible news, I hate thinking that someone thought that was the only way out...

Surely it's just the time between waking up and eating that counts as 'breakfast' ...I think it's just about kick starting your metabolism? Just my opinion though. Also I think the 'don't eat after 8pm thing' is rubbish. A calorie is a calorie no matter what time. I just try and eat something lighter if I eat later so it…

Interesting... I have never heard of the second definition. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say... I'll never fast etc (I just pass out! haha) but regulary exercise to the point of exhaustion if I know I have a hugely calorific meal that evening. I don't think that's unhealthy...just good planning!!…

Yeah sorry, no help here...I'm with you! I'm usually too shattered after work! It's an early alarm clock for me most days otherwise the excuses are too easy to come crawling out!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I love your enthusiam!!

Arghhhhh :embarassed: This one is a nightmare for me! I admit I have a room in the house we call "The Study" but in fact, it's our desks, a bookcase - and a whole mountain of clutter we can't bear to throw out but will never use again... I've been meaning to sort it out for ages! Also, my wardrobe could do with a bit of a…

7 For All Mankind Jeans come in LOADS of different lengths....my favourite pair of jeans are these. When I'm a little more strapped for cash www.tallgirls.co.uk do some really nice styles - their Premium Denim is lovely. They do come up quite big though so order a size down.

 Oh, it's so nice to read this post and feel normal! Usually I try and pretend my feet are smaller then they are... haha. I wear a UK 9 (I think that's about a US11 but it's not a direct conversion is it...depends on the brand?) or a UK 9.5 to run in. I don't know if it's the same in the US though, but over here,…

 Oh good, I have managed to do this one without even reading the challenge! I usually have peanut butter toast for breakfast (which I know is not that terrible but still not an ideal start!) but I am trying to have a clean eating week this week, so had a protein shake milkshake (1/2 banana, 1 scoop protein, skimmed…

I always find this one tricky... Especially when you think about it...you don't know what country the person who entered the nutritional values is from - and with fruit it matters soooo much! Like a "Large Papaya" in the UK is a piddly little thing, but when you go on holiday...wow! Their 'Small Papaya' is bigger than our…

It makes me feel sick that there are people out there who still react so badly to any race other than their own. I have to admit, I have lived in a happy little bubble my whole life - my family, community and people I socialised with were accepting of all races - so when I met my boyfriend (who is Chinese) and he used to…
