YES! I was about to suggest this site! I have been trying to follow the vegan low carb, but have had trouble with finding the right type of protein. Tempe triggers headaches and I mean REAL BAD ones! :smooched: I am hunting on YouTube for seitan recipes and it looks easy enough to make, just time consuming.

I am 9 years out, calories are about 1000 to1200 and protein averages 50 to 80, I try to eat more when I think of it. Cheese and deviled eggs, but sometimes I forget!

I can NOT eat that much food, I just try to up the protein and drop the carb count. My goal is to get to five pound BELOW my ultimate goal and then I have 5 pounds to play with. Right now I have just 8-10 pounds to lose so it is no big deal. Their BMR does not apply to us because of our plumbing and especially not to me…

Sounds like good advice, pureed foods and soups blended well. Have you tried cheesy mashed potato with sour cream? I lived on baby food for about a month post op. :) I am now 9 years out.

cottage cheese and fruit, you can grind the cheese in a food processor or little chopper if the texture bothers you, and add a packet of sweetener:smile: .
