Whey protein shake. It will help repair muscles from the weight training. Its convenient to take and make (one scoop in a shaker bottle with water). I'd try a banana or a few fig newtons before your cardio just to give you some carbs to make it through the workout.

If you are only looking to the ladies for Crossfit you had better stick to your aerobics class. You do know CF includes weights, muscles, bacon and puking, right? In other words, yes, CF is wonderful.

honestly, nothing. I generally abide by "grilled' "fresh" "unsalted' most of the time but when I want a piece of chocolate, I have it, when I want a steak, I have it. Just fit it in your daily calories. You can't deprive yourself or you wont stick to being healthy for very long because you will be just miserable.

I don't run that far..2-3 miles (but hopefully I'll push myself more when I have nice new shoes) I DO walk long distances though...sometimes up to 10 miles...I am not looking to break the bank either... just need some mid-range shoes. Anything I get can't be worse than the $25 dollar worn out-department store ones I own…
