I walked and rode 100 miles in August during the hottest month of the year in the desert. It was double what I did the month before.

Great job! I have taken up riding my mountain bike and walking as well, both outdoors early in the morning. I have been doing it less than two months now and have lost 25 lbs and covered nearly 150 miles so far. Its pretty addictive after the first month or so! I am doing 100 miles in August as my challenge.

I set a goal to walk and ride 100 miles total in the month of August. I am 45.3 miles done and rounding the bend to half way there. I am on 62 days MFP and last month without trying I covered 50 miles so I wanted to challenge myself.

Thanks. I need to start measuring my inches. Up till now I havent done that but I know I am still benefiting because I have droppped a shirt size and two pant sizes so far but I didnt measure up front. Glad you hung in there.

That is the exact thing that finally motivated me as well. 2 months ago at a theme park with my kids and I couldnt get on many of the rides. In two months since then I am down about 25 lbs and 19 of that since using MFP 42 days ago. Keep it up,our families deserve the best of us!
