  • 28 Days Later and speaking of the walking dead....23 more minutes here!!
  • That's exactly what mine are like, but I hit 282 lbs with size 42 or 44 DDD...they were gigantic jugs. Now I'm 143 lbs and wear a 34d or 36c and mine are deflated. Oh well, rather have flat boobs than the extra person I was lugging around everyday.
  • According to the military measurement I'm 28.2% body fat. But I've lost total 140ish lbs and have some loose skin on the stomach (haha among other places) that skew my measurements. I know my boobs are practically gone, lol.
  • I think the $10 a month plan is no commitment, whereas the $20 a month plan has a one year commitment and would be charged if you cancel early.
  • I have this too. There are some foods that if I take the first bite it just disappears. I'm still learning to identify them too :(
  • This...I've been losing weight for over a year and a half. The only time I feel bad is if I know what I ate will make my sugar spike really, really bad. I'm type 2, almost completely off meds, so my diet is very important. I eat junk, plenty of it recently, lol, but now that I've lost a lot of weight and workout my sugar…
  • I'm always starving after my workouts...just starving. I'm trying to get into the habit of having something with me for right after I'm finished and then I come home and have a protein shake. Well, that's what I'm trying to do anyways. And trust me, my calories are no where near to low, eating close to 1800 daily.
  • Congratulations on your huge success! Doesn't it feel great. So many things that you said is similar to my story, not the parents (well my mom was off but more verbally than physical) , but marrying young and staying together, the strained friendships after losing weight, amazement at your pants and sweaters. I still…
  • I'd like to know too. I'm very close to maintenance and would love some tips :)
  • The trainer at my gym told me to do 4 sets of 12 reps each and I told him I wanted the weight to be difficult to 8-10 reps. If I can hit 10 with no problem the weight obviously needs to go up. He started arguing with me about lifting lighter with higher reps and how that burns more calories. I laughed and told him I'm not…
  • I'm 5' 4.5" and weigh 145 lbs and have one. First time in my life and I got really excited the first time I saw it :P I also have three kids and had no problems getting them out of my hips :)
  • I'm type II and would follow this except I do eat brown rice, 1/2 a cup serving with protein to lower the glycemic index, sweet potatoes (less than a 90g serving), very little noodles (only whole grain), and occasionally pizza but only pepperoni, the more meats that are on it the higher my sugar goes and stays (The fat…
  • My highest weight, which wasn't logged on here, was 282 lbs, currently I'm 142 lbs. My husband and I got married when I was 16 and weighed around 160 lbs, so this is the smallest I've ever been since us being together! Honestly, he's all over me, all the time, lol. It's almost like we're teenagers again. So it's been good…
  • Height: 5' 4" Starting weight: 227 lbs Current weight: 142 lbs Goal Weight: 135 lbs Age: 33 How many calories you eat a day: 1500-1690; but on some days I eat up to 1900
  • Mine are 15" and I have a pair of Doc Marten's that fit amazing...love those boots. Edited to say: I just remeasured my calves and apparently they've gotten smaller...14 inches, but I know those doc's will fit a 15" calf.
  • haha...I just bought a pair of leggings!! I'm still waiting for them to come in the mail and I need a longer sweater to go with them too but it's the exact same thing. I know I look good when I leave but then I start panicking when I'm out and about. That's when I find a mirror...it reassures my brain that all is still…
  • Lol, I say this all the time. I went from a size 26 at my highest to now wearing a 6 (which is getting loose on me) and I still feel like I'm fat. I talk about this quite frequently with my friends, because I constantly check the mirror, not to see how I look necessarily, but to make sure I didn't suddenly turn into the…
  • I've had people tell me that I'm getting to thin, lol. I just broke the healthy weight mark for my height. Trust me I am sooo not too thin! But I've gotten the comment three times in the last week now. My profile pic is me at 282 lbs and currently I'm at 143 lbs. More recently I've lost what my ticker says.
  • From my highest weight I've lost 139lbs. Loose skin is the name of the game here, I lift, I do cardio, and I will always have loose skin. Sure it looks like crap, it's my stomach, arms, thighs, butt, and back, but to be honest, you can't see it unless I'm naked and I look darn good in clothes. So I'd rather take 10 - 14…
  • I have a family of five, my husband works full time, I work part time, and I attend college full time. Those amounts that you posted that you save before you spend a dime is very close to what we make in a YEAR. Add about 3k more and you're there. We are beyond broke. I live in Michigan and my husband has to drive an hour…
  • I love this site and love reading the forums...Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful post.
  • I completely relate to this...I've been morbidly obese for my entire adult life. The last time I wasn't obese or overweight was when I was 11 years old, lol. My biggest was a size 26/28 and just yesterday I bought my first pair of size 6 jeans! Fat brain syndrome, I love that term because that is exactly how I feel!
  • I have 3 kids, from 11th grade to 3rd grade and since the changes in the food menu they refuse to eat hot lunch. But it's not really the dietary changes that they object to, it's the fact that the food is no longer prepared at the school. It's prepackaged by a company and sent in. Many times (last year) they complained…
  • I'm 5'4" and aiming for 145 (healthy BMI) but I have a lot skin since I've weighed in the 280s before. I'm at 155 and it is coming off so slow now. But without the skin I'm probably closer to 145 now anyways, so I'm not stressing about it too much, just eating as close to what I should as I can and focusing on getting…
  • My son's 8 but he has Asperger's Syndrome and he's been wetting occasionally for the last year. I just tell him that he needs to stop and go to the bathroom when he needs to and get him cleaned up and on his way. The thing with my little guy is he isn't embarrassed about it, he just wants to get changed and get back to…
  • INFJ - I'm an office manager, but I was going to college for software engineering, then I moved. Now I'm starting back up in college to be a medical assistant. Vastly different from the software engineering but I love both fields :)
  • Bump for later...these sound delicious and I need lower carb desert ideas! Thanks KD!
  • I've been playing for 4 years I think, lol, my main server is Silvermoon but I've recently started branching out to Area 52 on the horde side. During the summer I hardly play and the winter it's more game on! I'm not very creative with names (absolutely no imagination here) so most of my toons are a variation of my name:…
  • I'm on Silvermoon too, lol, but it's a little slow there.
