I have to get up before everyone in the AM and exercise. I had to stop eating what the kids left and leave on their plates, buy healthy snacks (for when there's really no time for me to eat), an do a little pre-planning for meals (I eat different things than hubby and kids, a lot of times). I WILL OWN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS- Count me in! I'm not happy with my inconsistency in exercise and eating for the last few months. This will jumpstart my motivation again. My goals are to exercise 6 days per week at least 30 minutes; eat clean (no junk...sweets); and log everything. 11/01 SW- 241

I keep chocolate pudding cups and no sugar added fudgesicles in the house, so that I can get my chocolate fix without going overboard. I find that my calories even out, because although I go through a couple of days where I'm having cravings...once TOM comes, I have no appetite.

When the dr. said, "if you don't lose weight, we will definitely put you on blood pressure meds. Losing weight may make that unnecessary." I was at the highest weight that I'd ever been. That was December 2012 and I haven't looked back!

If you're doing cardio dvd's, a circuit training dvd or video that incorporates weight and toning might be a great start.

I would say genetics, because if you are a person with wider hips and bigger bust (even toned up), even if your midsection looked like hers, you'd have curves.

I like kickboxing/boxing and circuit training, because they help me burn the most calories in the shortest amount of time. I do the workouts on my cable OnDemand. I also have a few dance and sculpting workouts as well. I also have little ones and prefer to do my workouts @ home.

Sometimes individual stores have websites that give the nutritional info, even though its not posted anywhere you can find it in the store. But you did well; I do that sometimes too.

I have found that what I eat DOES matter, even if I stay within my alotted calories for the day. But that's just for me....I'm not sure about everyone else. If it's junk food, I don't lose anything....

Most restaurants have fit or light fare. When not, I get salad wth a protein and skip the croutons and dressing ( only oil and lemon). I take my own snacks and a bottled water to the movies via my purse.

This^^^. I opened it to my friends recently. And when I add quick calories, I make a note as to what it is. I mostly opened because I want the feedback it provides me so I can get this weight off, but somebody else might get ideas about food options or be helped too.

I try to get my chocolate "fix" by buying chocolate pudding cups or fudge-sicles. Or I will buy 1 dark chocolate bar (at least 70% cocoa) and eat a few squares for a couple of days in a row. It works to not have much of anything (sweets or junk) except what I "allow" myselft, so I don't go overboard.

This! But I eat a yogurt or piece of friut (usually a banana) before I workout, so I won't get dizzy. Then, I dont eat breakfast until around 7 or 7:30.

Absolutely possible. The scale hasn't moved in a couple of weeks, but I can feel muscle definition I've never had and all of my current clothes are too big.

I have Comcast or Xfinity Cable and there are some great ab workout videos on there. I really like a couple of them with Robert Jones (the cardio core that is all standing and moving....no mat work is my fav).

I do work out 6 days a week with 1 rest day, but often on my rest day I walk or do a short cardio workout. I've gotten into the habit of exercise and just want to every day, even if it is just light cardio. If I feel I need the rest, I do nothing.
