Big second to Kashi Go Lean! 140 cal/cup, 13 gm protein, 30 gm carbs, 10 gm fiber (9 of which are insoluble). I have it with some berries and almond milk, very filling.

It's pretty typical for that medication to cause fatigue and general ickyness during the first couple weeks of use, but it does go away! So keep up the good work and when you feel discouraged keep in mind that this is just a temporary speed bump :)

I forgot to weigh in Wednesday, but I weighed in this morning (my normal weigh in day) and I'm down to 178.4! That's a little over a 3 pound difference from September 7th, and a 5.4 pound total loss for the month so far. Keep it up everyone!

I weighed in this morning--I was at 183 last week, now at 181.6! Down about a pound and a half, yay!

When I went last year I kept protein bars and peanut butter crackers in my bag to munch on. Although I wasn't avoiding the vendor food for health reasons, but because I'm a poor college student! Everything is pricy there. Make sure to drink lots of water too! You can bring in empty water bottles to fill up at drinking…

I have a major peanut butter addiction too. I second the PB2 recommendation though! Tastes just like peanut butter and only 45 calories. I put it in oatmeal and it's so delish!

I'm in my last year of pharmacy school! Which, ironically enough, has not been kind to my health :)
