Me too :( I decided to do 2 weeks at tdee over the holiday but I've been way over almost every day :( It amazes me how many calories I can consume of "healthy" foods!!

I don't have any advice but I'm trying the road map that the others posted about... I've switched to maintenance for the time being & will cut 15-20% in the new year. I'll letcha know if it helps!!

Bumping for later! I'm trying to do a metabolism reset so I've been eating at TDEE for about a week & have gained 3 lbs :-/ I'm sure it will come off when I start to cut again but I can definitely see how maintenance will be a challenge!!

I like to do the overnight oats as well! Soooo quick & easy! I do equal amouts oats/almond milk/yogurt & half a banana & lots of cinnamon. Sometimes i add chia seeds or pb. I've tried it with pumpkin & its good but not as sweet as banana. I've also used apple sauce instead of yogurt a few times. I throw it in the fridge…

I didn't mean that everybody that gains weight is using it as an excuse.... But I do think that it is a lot less common then a google search will lead you to believe. Weight loss is also listed as a possible side effect of the Mirena so maybe you will get lucky :)

Honestly, I think a lot of people use the Mirena as an excuse. I had mine placed shortly after my daughter was born and you can see by my ticker that it has not stopped me from losing weight. It hurt a bit being put in, I cramped for about 20 minutes & spotted on and off for 2 or 3 weeks (not major bleeding or anything)…

You've already got some great advice but I just thought I'd share what is working for me :) I'm 5'5 142 lbs and I eat between 1500-1800 a day depending on what i've done for exercise :) I've managed to lose 40 of the 45 lbs I gained while pregnant and my daughter is 3 months :)
