Thanks again

! ! ! First again, thanks everyone. MFP is the place to be. You know man I am still not happy with my lower abs, lots of work going on there right now. I have done to date 5 rounds of p90x, 2 rounds of p90x got me to the third picture this year but I found that I was way too skinny with my diet. So I did a 3rd round of…

Thank you mnricha927 an ccmzone2013, we all have different battles to fight in life, never let others tell you that your fight isnt as had as theirs. Thank you to all others.

Thank you, I dont know that it will ever go away. I think I am ok with that. It keeps me motivated. Thanks for the empathy. I got this route with 3 rounds of p90x and most recently all I did was cut the cardio out and I put on lean muscle in a very shot time. P90X has me doing back work with many things including…

Thank you, but I worked very very hard to get where I am now. I dont take my eating and workouts for granted. Its hard to maintain the ideal look and I am frustrated at times that I dont look like some of the other guys that do way less and look way more cut. My metabolism is slow but nothing I cant overcome. I keep moving…

My back pain never seems to go away for good but it stops for weeks before I feel it again. So its very little compared to what it used to be. If I keep stretched and keep the "pain" in the gym, it doesn't hurt on my off days. Its had to explain. I could say that I am strong enough now to push through any pain that I may…

At times I will buy a pack of wal-mart no bake cookies and eat the entire package. Or a few thanksgivings ago I ate two entire pumpkin pies on a visit to my inlaws. I went bought two more pies to replace what i had ate so they had pie while we there. Very embarrassing. Just didn't know when to stop when it came to certain…

well played. I am very new to this forum and have a lot to learn; clearly, its a refreshingly diverse place. I'll stick to reading and less posting.

lol, thought that was at me. I was like I didnt have cheesecake?! just went back and read what happened there.

You are making my point. I think its all in my head. Its not in the greek yogurt, its just that you get a bit of the fruit as you take off the top of the yogurt as the stuff sits in the bottom of the cup, you get just a bit of the sweetness without all the fruit jelly sitting on the bottom. You hit it spot on. Its not…

I did receive two messages, you, someone else on here, and me that do eat it this way.
-
That is kind of why I started this as well. I am lactose intolerent to whole milk but oikos and chobani doesnt bother me. When I bought a tub of greek gods yogurt it would make me sick. This was trying to mitigate that and what it has turned out to be. As for the pumpkin. This is the season of all things pumpkin and I just…

noted and thank you for the very concise feedback.

No you all are right, dont have a thing to stand on other than just being lazy, which what I have worked so hard not to be. My wife has that exact egg masher beater thing pictures. haha.
-
lol, thats true. I would rather waste the .3 oz of fruit, get a little of the flavor and trade the 18 grams of sugar that I threw out and eat some strawberries. The fructose and sugar listed in Oikos doesnt bother me so much as I would rather have them elsewhere in my MFP during my day. So the flavor is there when skimmed…

Yes, I am active duty air froce 11 years (flying for 7 of them) I default to yes sir as well. My apologies again.
-
on a gram scale I am only wasting .3 oz out of 5.3 oz. Its hardly anything to feel wasteful about. But thank you for clearing that up. Making things fit into your diet is what its all about. I applaud anyone that is trying this and making gains. MFP has helped me out tremendously and still allowed me to enjoy "bad" things…

I am very open to advice, where in my habits is the bad example. So that I might work on that and learn from it?
-
The Dannon is my favorite as well, Oikos has the least cost per gram of protein but I have yet to try the blended stuff.
-
Thank you all. Still have a ways to go but I am gaining strength in my back like I have never had before. This site, MFP, and p90x changed my life. I am so thankful.
-
touche' I guess what I should have said was I dont go grab a snickers and think that is a decent meal replacement on the go. I get my sugars from things derived from something it originally came from. This keeps my MFP grams of sugar per day well under the alloted amount.
-
I have a bottle of KAL pure stevia on my work desk right now. Its the extract with out additives.
-
my apologies, didnt see your profile til just now.
-
Yes sir, still eat 50 or so grams of sugar a day but I dont eat processed sugars. Greek yogurt only has 1 gram of sugar per 5 oz.
-
Well I guess I am alone on this one. As to the stevia comment. Absolutely. Stevia has changed my life. I dont have to hunger for something sweet anymore, I just mix up a glass of brewed iced tea and add stevia for a sweet fix.

Ouch harsh bunch... Yes, that is the obvious choice. Just to buy the plain but I dont like the plain. If i do the fruit cups I get some of the fruit flavor but not all the sugar since its separated and sitting at the bottom. I buy the cups for conveinence and dont really care to save the planet. Where I buy yogurt, the…
