IMHO after watching Fat Sick & Nearly Dead, Food Matters, Etc., Juicing is a healthy part of a healthy diet....but can't be exclusive. So I do juice...but I don't use it to replace good food.

Great JOB!!!!

I've only deleted for inactivity, but when I send a friend request, I have read their profile and feel that they are good role models/motivators for me and hopefully, I can provide some level of support to them.

Nay--no reason to put chemicals in my body. And for me....diet drinks...Splenda and AS in general cause me to crave food. Good ole water.

Thank you OP for reminding me about overnight oats. I love them. I will say that it is beyond my senses that folks feel obligated to take things to a negative. If you don't like them....don't make them....no need to post and discourage others. If you want this to be two meal servings rather than 4 "SNACKS" then divide it…

I started with C25K. I weighed over 300 lbs. Take it slow...do what you can...and enjoy the benefits!

I just throw in whatever I have and see what happens. It's normally good. I always have greens in it. A couple handsful of spinach normally. Then an apple and/or citrus fruit. Sometimes half a banana. Most always carrots and a small amount of beets too. Beets I use a very very small amount. Half of a small beet, because…

The first time I did C25K I was over 300 lbs. Just do it. If you need to repeat week #2, then repeat a week, but continue running. I found, that each time I questioned if I could do it....once I started, I would not let myself quit. I was amazed when I ran my first mile consecutively. It's a wonderful feeling of…

LOL...that was exactly what I was thinking. Who needs ALLI when you can crap your pants with KALE. hahahaha

My 8 year old granddaughter runs with me and has for a little more than a year. She has done 3 5K races. She enjoys it...she's exercising...so I say...as long as they're having fun.

Couch 2 5 K. I'm more than 100 lbs overweight. Have never ran a day in my life until 10 weeks ago. I've now run consecutive 1.75 miles. I'm slow, but I'm doing it. I try to do one "long" run per week and then intervals to increase speed and distance. C 25 K has helped me with that. I'm now running 4-5 days a week.

I started running 8 weeks ago...at 48....I'm now 49 and I have run my first mile without stopping. I'm using C25K, but when I thought I could do more...I did more. This has been PHENOMENAL for my esteem and confidence. I have nearly 150 lbs to do. I'm not fast...but I'm running...I feel great. My legs and feet ache, but…

I'm watching but....irritated with it. What use to be 2 hours...is 1 hour now. And it seems like it took them FOREVER to get this season going. They use to do two seasons a year...and I think they are down to 1 a year. Either keep it going and keep me interested....or I need to bail into some other mindless reality show.

I started running about 7 weeks ago. I'm just ready to break under 300 lbs. (Probably this week)....I use C25K. It's hard....but it's sooooooooooooooooo worth it. I ran my first mile consecutive 3 weeks ago (yes, I deviated from the program). It was not planned, but I just kept running. SLOW....SLOW.....SLOW!!!!!!. I'm…

Seriously!...and under the Message Board-- INTRODUCE YOURSELF. The guy was only trying to Introduce Himself. and if the OP has taken care of it with Planet Fitness....and is not scared...and is going to call the cops, then what was the purpose of the original post????

I have a Body Bugg that is sync thru Body Media. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It truly helps me to move more because I want to hit a certain target each day.

I want that portion of my life back that it took me to read this. I can' t believe this thread is still alive...(I saw it yesterday--but resisted temptation). Embarrassed for OP. SMH....I mean....seriously.....when you ended it.....if you didn't expect him to come "running back"....why do you give a RIP whether he…

I use to make these all the time. Sometimes adding garlic for a more savory roll. I had forgotten all about these...but with flavorings/spices, the possibilities are endless. I think I even used cocoa powder and agave nector once to make it more brownie like.

I second the comment for the Cuisinart Griddler. I too, had both of them. The griddler has earned a spot on my limited counter space, because I use it everyday. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Thank you for the Public Service Announcement. Off to pick some fresh corn out of the garden for dinner. But you are correct...I will not count it as my veggie. :)

break your breakfast in two. Eat a little something before you workout and then eat the rest later. That is sufficient fuel for a workout. I'd say.

good point.....very very good post.....I will think about this, because while I do get my picture taken....I also pick myself apart. I also try to hide in the picture...just letting my face peep over someone else.

Order a pizza and then go get a Blizzard from DQ. (I'm an emotional eater) :):blushing:

The Body for Life book has a GREAT beginning weight program. Alternates arms/legs, with instructions for each exercise. I carried the book around the gym with me while I was doing it. I felt so good....come to think of it...I think I'm going to dust that book off again! Thanks!!! :)

That was AMAZINGLY written!!!! Congratulations on your success...your commitment...your attitude....and your future!
-
You are right about that...it is a horrible example. I've just always felt bad for her because she is so alienated from everyone. But, she does have a bad mouth and bad attitude. Not sure how that would do for book sales if she wins..LOL

I love Chrissy....I'm not into the bullying, but they pretty much started on her from day 1. She is just very aggressive in return. But...the girl can cook. She hardly makes a mis step when it comes to her cooking. I didn't think it was cool when she sassed back at the judges, just from the angle of respect. Her…
