I'm dealing with similar issues. The medication is hard to figure out. I am not overweight but did see the challenge in even taking a couple pounds off. Keep at it. It will work out in the end.

Do you have room in your house for some gym equipment? That's what we do. Put a TV in that room and have fun!

I just went bikini shopping. I am a pear shape. Most painful experience. I finally got a pink bikini. I still think it looks like crap. I am miserable looking at myself in any of them. My husband says it's fine. I don't believe him!

I got some fairly inexpesive ones at Canadian Tire in Canada. They were around $14.99. Check bicycling shops also. They wear gloves too.

I am pear shape. The more I do cardio and anything that works my legs, the larger they get. I've gained muscle weight from that in the past few months. eeekkkkkk I am beginning to be a big pear! However, I know it's imperative to keep my knees strong so I keep at it...reluctantly.

Well, I do lots of cardio and I gain. If I stop doing any exercise, I lose weight. I'm getting bigger. This just stinks!

The more treadmill and elliptical I do, the larger my thighs get! I have gained 1" in total in the past 3 months on them and 1 to 2 lbs of weight. Pretty sure in Canada we only have chocolate mint cookies and then boxes of chocolate/vanilla mix ones. Sounds very different in the USA.

I would definitely rather wear less clothes to the gym than overheat in baggy sweats. Doesn't matter if I look good or bad in them. It's all about fitness and I commend anyone for being there regardless of their outfit.

I find the elliptical adds better definition to my butt and the back of my legs. I have actually increased in weight lately due to exercise, but my butt and thighs look better.

We're getting a boxee for our exercise room on Tuesday. Very excited. Sure beats staring at the wall while we exercise. I have it on my computer now and it works OK. I'm not interested in using my computer for it so I bought the boxee. Doesn't hurt I get it at cost either.
