so how much should you do each day. n how many times a week.

    I shoot for about 250 minutes of moderate intensity cardio and 3 days of weights.

    I don't think the OP gave enough information to really answer this question. How much, how often, and how, one should exercise is entirely dependent on one's goals. Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about your current fitness level, and about what you are trying to achieve?

    If your goal is just basic health, starting with the CDC guidelines the previous poster linked to is probably a good idea. If you're not there yet, trying to build up to those guidelines is a good place to start.

    You're right. Much like in real life, I spoke and then thought, loI. If you can't do that much yet, do what you can and work towards more. Any time spent moving your body is time well spent.

    I try and do an hour a day, split up between morning and evening. Some days I do a bit more, but there is also usually a day off in the week. My legs are so strong now and I have little muscles in my arms. However, I weigh more than when I started but this could be attributed to the fact I had zero muscle and was pretty thin.
