I have seen some of her videos. Unless something has changed recently, she is not 100% raw vegan as she does eat a "regular" or "cooked" vegan meal around dinner time. It seems to work for her. I think everyone has to find what works for them. I went vegan a few years ago and it was like everyone (including overweight…

I think it depends on your bodytype and lifestyle. Intermittent fasting works VERY well for me. I still consume all of my macros I just do it in an 8 hour window. I usually workout fasted when time permits (but that is what I prefer because I feel gross working out with food in my stomach). By the time I am ready to eat it…

lots of ways to answer this question!!! are you eating all of your calories? are you food nutrient dense or empty calories that provide no nutritional value? I see you are eating veggies and fruits...is that it? If so, you will have to eat LOTS of them to get your necessary calories. How much water are you drinking? It…

After my fasted HIIT: Morrocan-style meat(less) meatballs, couscous and sauteed kale with dried cranberries and carrots. I love dinner for breakfast!! Hold me over for HOURS!!!

Talk to your trainer or get a new one. I'm not a fan of weight machines-used them for years with NO results. Then started using free weights, kettlebells, pull up bars and body weight exercises and the results are completely different!! Some trainers at the gym get a little lazy and some are GREAT so you may have to shop…

not really a bbq fan...however, I do like my own ketchup based bbq sauce which I put on my (wait for it)....tofu since I don't eat meat...(please be kind to me!!!) LOL

I've lost over 70 pounds and I am 100% working out at home. I've had gym memberships since I was 15 years old and this is the healthiest I have been. However, I have spent years investing in my "home gym". I rely on YT and social media for ideas. I LOOOOVE working out at home and live in an areas where there are lots of…

I think it is a great program. I would definitely recommend it. I did not get a paid membership but that is not to say I would not get one at a later time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. They consider all levels of fitness and the challenges are a great way to keep people focused on more than just a number of…

I've tried some of the more intense videos and just have to modify some of the moves or take a break when I needed too. Daily Burn has so many options for so many different levels.

I enjoyed the free trial. there are a lot of great videos and tons of variety. I did not get a membership though because there are so many YT videos out there. would I consider a membership some other time? perhaps. would I recommend it? definitely!!

I'm just planning on staying focused. I have my workout days already set up. I don't celebrate Thanksgiving so I am not worried about over eating or anything. My goal for this time of year is to just stay the course. So far so good.

news to me too!!! I hope everything works out. maybe a redesign of the facility will help. I work near McCormick's and always smell cinnamon in the air (ok- maybe cinnamon is a bit different than ground peppers!!! lol). but I love that rooster sauce!!! -and cinnamon too lol

may have to give these a try...funny comment about the daily hiit girl. she actually had a very honest blog about having her implants removed a couple of months ago because they were too large for her body type and were causing her too many problems. i like her... she does some intense workouts-some are above my pay grade…

interesting article...personalities are personalities no matter the age....I work out at home now but I remember when I was 15 I had a spa lady membership and there was a group of 4-5 women who probably were in their 20's...definitely a clique...never bothered me but I remember being in awe of those women because they…

I don't get the shakes and quite frankly never get hungry. I make sure I eat every few hours up until 7:30pm...I keep nuts, coconut milk yogurt, fruits with me so I stay satiated. My largest meal is usually lunch and that keeps me going for the rest of the day. you may need to just figure out your eating routine. another…

I do HIIT and Tabata style workouts too. As long as I keep my rest periods at less than 1 minute, I count the full time because even though it is "rest" you are not at full recovery (resting heart rate) and you are still churning out those calories!

I went to a friend's surprise graduation party yesterday (it took her 15+ years to get her degree) and ran into friends I've known since High School. I met a women who lost 150 pounds in one year (had gastric) and she now only eats junk and eats soda and has been in the hospital 19 times in the past 12 months because she…
