Started running to burn cals at 63. I have done two 5K'sand the Denver Rugged Maniac Mud/Obstacle course 5K and do 12 minute miles. Old and slow but they know I am there. Signed up for the Rugged Maniac again next August. I compete with myself!

I have succeded in touching my toes with my knees locked!!!!! (Feet about 18" apart). I work with in an office of women who can do this easily...but now I can do it too!!!! I am working on narrower stance and touching floor with an extended fist. I have a weighted bar I use to help stretch. Feels good!!!!!

I spoke with my family tonight about my Advanced Directives. I said emphatically i did not want to be dependent on a machine and take my fluids from a glass bottle. If I got that way disconect things. So, the little ungrateful bugger's unplugged my TV and poured out my wine glass....arrrgh.

I put 150,000 miles on a 63 VW when I was young. I could even make the tires chirp (no smoke from them though....i forget if it was 36 or 40 HP, top speed 71 MPH!!!!). I loved that car, but swore I would pay more for an automatic for the rest of my life...
