  • My program requires 6 months of monthly weight management meetings where I review/learn different areas, such as incorporating more protein, cutting soda, etc. I’m in the last month, and then I’ll have to do 1 month of the pre-op diet because I have fatty liver syndrome. I’m not looking forward to that! I’m worried…
  • I'm starting the at home program on Monday. Are you HMR'ers still here? I'd love to hear how things are going for everyone.
  • Hi all. I just sent friend requests to everyone, I think. My app was acting weird. Please feel free to add me: sy_weary@yahoo.com. Happy stepping!
  • Thanks for all the inspiring photos. I hope to post own soon.
  • Belleville here!

  • Recently, a friend bought me their 12 Days of Christmas special, which is 12 sessions for $20. I've gone 3 times so far and I really enjoy it. I'm debating if I should join or not. For 2012 my employer is implementing a pay cut (on top of the ones we already took in 2010 and 2011), and our healthcare costs are going up. So…
  • Thanks,, this sounds yummy! I don't like mushrooms, though. Anyone have any thoughts about a substitute? Maybe I'll try some shredded chicken.
  • U.S., near Detroit, Michigan. Hello and Happy New Year everyone!!
  • I'm struggling with IR and the dreaded carbs and sugars, so I'm posting to save this thread for future reference. Thanks everyone for all the good information.
  • Carlinamomma said: I was wondering what the harm was of keeping friends who hadn't logged on in forever. I didn't realized there was a max # of friends. Makes sense. Thanks.
  • To the OP's friend, who compared her native country to England: if your native country is so much better, please go back there. I live in the U.S., and I get so tired of hearing non-citizens and naturalized citizens talking about how something is much better in their native land. I always say (or want to say): then why are…
  • I love their unsalted roasted sunflower seeds and unsalted blister peanuts. Yum!
  • Wow, I have found kindred spirits!!! Besides the stuff I already mentioned, after reading all of your posts, I can co-sign with: strings on the bananas, the smell of milk, the consistency of tomatoes, and gristle/fat in meat. Yuck to all of that!!! As a kid I didn't like for my foods to touch, but I can deal with that now,…
  • Okay, I'll 'fess up to a few things: like someone else said, I can't eat meat that has bone-in, and while I mostly love chicken breast, some days I just can't stomach it! I think my sometime disgust for chicken breast is related to this one: the beef that I buy can't have a body part in the name, so I can't buy cuts…
  • I've noticed the sugar more than the salt. I have been a diehard Pepsi/Mountain Dew girl since childhood. I drank a Pepsi the other day for the first time in more than a month, and it was like drinking sugar water!! Yuck. I hope to lose my taste for salt some day. :-)
  • You look great! I notice your puppy in both pics. He also looks trimmer in the after pic! :-)
  • Also bumping for future reference. Thanks!
  • I lost 60 pounds a few years ago and my cup size didn't change at all (DDD). I wound up having reduction surgery. Since the surgery, I have gained back 40 pounds :-( and my "girls" haven't changed one bit (thankfully). My weight fluctuations seem to have no direct bearing on the girls.
  • I was perusing this thread an hour ago, contemplating a trip to the grocery store. I had never heard of Mio until this thread. Well, I just got back from the store, where I picked up Mio Fruit Punch. Once I figured out a good amount of Mio for my water, I LOVED it!!! This stuff is really good. I enjoy plain water, but Mio…
  • The best response I found to the question of how to track the 30 DS is to call it circuit training, general. Makes sense to me. I just started the 30 days last night, and I'm also curious if others are working out in addition to it.
  • Hi. I lost 60 pounds a few years ago, and the darkness on my neck went away completely. Unfortunately, I've gained most of the 60 back, and sure enough, the acanthosis nigricans is also back!!! So keep the faith, it will go away with weight loss.
