A week it's over I have two friends both relatives....0 -
I usually delete them after 5 days if I haven't seen a lot of support from them or haven't seen any recent activity.0

I used two wait for two weeks but have now moved to 10 days.0

I don't wait a certain amount of time. If there is a connection between me and the person, I'll keep them forever. If there isn't one, then don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.0 -
i try to give ppl a chance i understand that there are circumstances that may cause someone to not be able to log on everyday. but if they don't log in for a month that is when they are deleted.0

i haven't really deleted anyone...i always figured maybe its some thing that can't be helped like car accident, sickness, death, and anyway...i love people.....and even if they haven't came back for months...i just pray that everything is alright and hopeful that they won't give up... and pray that they will come back, .because everyone needs someone.0

I delete at 30 days inactivity......maybe I'm a meanie. But I do send them a personal message, likely to make myself feel better.

I usually delete someone if they haven't logged in for like a month or two. If it has been a few days or a couple weeks I send them a message and let them know I miss them and are thinking of them and wait for a reply. If they don't reply I give them a few more days.

I do it often I usually give them 5-7 days and if not logged in I delete.. Only being that I have reached the Max of friends on MFP list and I like to add the ones who need the Support

Im the same way, I don't like seeing RED when I go through my lists, some people I will delete within 3 days of no log, other people if I interact with you I will wait.. and most people are gone after a month unless I know there is a reason your gone.0 -
I delete once I figure they are not really into commenting and responding to my posts....tit for tat......I don't do friends who don't pay attention. I figure if someone isn't logging on or is and isn't taking the trouble to comment me then they really don't want to be friends.0

I would delete them, I figure you want to surround yourself with people who support you, if you feel they aren't helping you, delete them and find another. I try to keep my list small so I can interact with everyone.0 -
2 weeks if we aren't that close, if they havent logged in or dont comment on my status, or anybody elses status for that matter, even if they logged in, 3-4 weeks. I had 250 friends, and now have 54. unless they state a special reason, like one of my friends is logging but not commenting because shes in school, but does say hi once a week. i used to feel guilty, but if they arent as serious as you are, why help somebody that doesnt want to be helped.0

I was wondering what the harm was of keeping friends who hadn't logged on in forever. I didn't realized there was a max # of friends. Makes sense. Thanks.0 -

Why keep them around if they aren't contributing anything to your goals, the point of having people here,at least for me is for support, I'm not here to collect friends or see how many I can have. I want to make sure those I do have are active and that helps motivate me to push harder.0 -

If it's someone that I feel may be going through a rough time, and I expect that they may come back, then I don't delete them.
How sucky would it be to fall off the wagon, only to get back on and log in to find NO FRIENDS.
