I'm a third year elementary art teacher.. and man am I unsure about starting school again in a couple weeks!! About two years ago I lost a bunch of weight (made it down to 116lbs) and maintained it for a 1 1/2 - 2 years.. but over the past school year put some weight back on. I used to have a really strict eating regimen…

It's really a matter of watching the number of calories you consume. The bulk of my weight loss was from calorie intake.. and not so much exercise. I ranged from 1200-1600 a day.

Egg beaters are just a brand name we have of egg whites that already come separated in a carton. :)

Yeah I was surprised one day when I was out grocery shopping and saw it! I had pretty much given up bread altogether (except for my 100 calorie sandwich thins) until I saw it on the shelf! They keep it with all the other bread -- no special location. I've seen it at Kroger, Walmart, Publix... so I assume most grocers carry…

I completely do this. It's all about accountability. If I go over and let myself be over.. then there is no consequence to my going over. If I push them into the next day, then I am penalized for going over. I hate not getting to eat as much the next day.. so it really encourages me to not go over on a day. Accountability…

I can completely relate to this. i'm 5'5" and I've lost 40+ lbs and now weigh 121 -- I was 118 before the holidays :/ I feel like no matter how much weight I lose.. I still feel like I could lose a couple more. I wear a 0-2 in American Eagle jeans.. and KNOW that I'm not overweight.. in fact I'm getting close to being…

I think you look great! Do what makes YOU happy (because that is what really matters). I'm 5'5" and my original goal weight was 130.. then 125.. then 120.. and now it's 115. I refuse to go lower than that though. A healthy body weight for a 5'5" women is between 111 - 149lbs (this is based on BMI).

Stevia and Sugar Free Peppermint Mocha creamer. My coffee only ends up being 30 cal.

Chilis Lighter Choice Grilled Chicken Salad. I get it with no tomatoes (I don't like them), no cheese, and the dressing on the side. The way I eat it makes it less than 300 calories and is DELICIOUS. I eat this every time I go!

I feel you on this. I have a terrible history of eating disorders and my relationship with food is not a good one. It's a battle everyday.. but it's one you must face. Fortunately I've gotten to the point where I can identify when I'm eating because I'm hungry... and when I'm eating because it feels good (even though…

I stopped having a period for 7 months. Now I get it every few months or so. I haven't seen a doctor.. but I'm sure it's calorie related.

In all fairness.. I don't have naturally big boobs.. I had them done about a year and a half ago (I used to not even fill out an A cup). When I had them done I had them sized out so they would give me a C cup.. but since them I've lost a significant amount of wait.. and now my C's have become a 34DD. :/ Haha I COMPLETELY…

I have a 4 year old. I have stretch marks. And I look the way I do in my profile pictures. Enough said.

I completely surpassed my goals. Just maintaining and slight toning now.

@Zeraus Hot arms!! :)

I completely have this problem. At my highest (unpregnant) weight I was 162.. and now I weigh between 118-121. Every time I look in the mirror I see an overweight girl. I still feel "fat" in my clothes" and still try on half of my closest every morning to see what I can find that I don't feel "fat" in. I have to…

Aww what a little cutie in your profile picture! :) Mine just turned 4 in September.

I stopped having my period for 7 months. The first 2 months I was on 1200 cal a day.. but afterwards I upped it to 1500. I JUST had a period a week ago.. first one since I lost it. It all takes time I guess,

I was very skinny as a child -- in fact anorexic in 4th grade. My mom and sisters were overweight and she would constantly weigh us and and such. I remember her always pushing my sisters about their weight (even though she herself was very overweight). I'm pretty sure this is what ruined my relationship with food and…

I went from 162 to 122.8 in about 16 months. You can read my profile for more info -- but I really don't ever exercise.. I lost my weight but watching calories.

thank you everyone for your feedback!

I appreciate your feedback. I am going to go see a doctor.. it's just a matter of when. I was just hoping that someone might have gone through the same thing and could give me some more insight.

My calculation is based on http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/mbf/ It is based on my height, weight, and measurements.

I agree.. 123 seems healthy. I think the issue is more with my body fat % -- roughly 14.8%

Thanks :)

Do you mind saying what it was then? I know that I'm going to have to go see a doctor (guess it's a good thing I finally have health insurance! - new job). I don't have a doctor yet though.. so I need to find one first.

I use one sandwich thin like Oroweat - Sandwich Thins Naturals- 100% Whole Wheat - which ends up being two pieces. Then top it with a low carb/cal pizza or marinara sauce, kraft fat free shredded cheese, and turkey pepperoni. The way I make it it ends up being 180 calories. My son loves it too! :)

These are the BEST. I love the one with just egg whites and cheese. :))
