I've done Body Revolution 3 times. It's my favourite program. Very effective if you do it properly and keep your calories in line. I ate about 1300-1450 calories a day and worked out 6 days a week with this program. I lost about 10-12lbs but tons of inches. It looked like I lost far more than that. I tried uploading my…

Amazing job!!!!!

From January 2012 to April 2012 I lost 40 pounds and was at my lowest weight (well, I'm sure I was lower at some point as I had to pass that weight to get to my heaviest but you know what I mean haha). I have gained all my weight back now and want to get rid of that 40 pounds again. I'm not a success story yet as I'm…

It's an amazing program. I don't have my pics on my phone but can post them later. It's definitely worth every penny. I did it last march and am now on week 7 again this time around.

Body Revolution is great but there are 4, one minute cardio intervals in those videos as well. It does focus mainly on strength training but as the weeks go on, everything feels like cardio because the moves are very dynamic lol

Hey there, I'm Alex. I'm 23 and I just graduated from University in June. On January 2nd, I told everyone "I will lose 30 pounds by graduation if it kills me." I started at 189 and by graduation I weighed 148.6. I have gained 3.5 pounds back (I got a job, moved away and am still adjusting). I have about 10-12 pounds before…

Also, I've been known to sneak in my own Smart Pop popcorn (260 calories for the whole bag). Throw a little butter spray on it or even some popcorn seasoning that you can buy at the movies (I like ketchup for a treat) and you've got a great alternative. I understand how hard it is to fight cravings like that. Once again,…

Great job! I hope you are incredibly proud of yourself. It's so hard to turn away our favourite things especially when we associate them with other things we enjoy (going to the movies). Youre right though, it's not worth how we feel after. It sounds to me like psychologically you're getting very strong!! And thats 90% of…

I lost 14 pounds my first month. I started at 189 :)

I started January 2 at 189 pounds. Weighed in today at 164...25 pounds down! and 17 more to go. Good luck everyone!

I just thought that with my sweat pouring down my face my pores were becoming more clogged with gunk. haha I noticed that I break out sometimes after a good workout too.

I love Body Pump! I was doing it about 3 times a week (and doing cardio classes in between) and noticed a huge difference in my shape. :) Unfortunately I hurt my knees so I'm easing my way back in but it's amazing.

Also, to type it in on MFP, just type in "clean eating sweet and sour chicken" and it's there!

My brother and I made this. We are Chinese food connaisseurs haha. This recipe was great! The longer you marinate the chicken, the more flavourful it is. It makes six servings. Enjoy :) INGREDIENTS: 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce 2 tbsp raw honey 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper…

I have the same problem. Ground flax seed (1/2 - 1 tbsp) mixed in with cereal or oatmeal can help A LOT! Good luck :)

I didn't see the above post until after I posted haha it's a good one!

I really like her Banish Fat/Boost Metabolism video. It's 7 circuits so about 50 minutes. It's INTENSE! It's mainly a cardio blast (no weights, no lunges) but it's great. There is a variety from kick boxing to sports conditioning (burpees) calisthenics (your jumping jacks, high knees, butt kicks) and I burn 500 calories…

Just an idea of where I lost - I lost 3 inches off my hips, 1 off my waist and 2.5 off my thigh plus a few more here and there ;). Measurements are a great way to track progress without solely relying on the scale. I'm glad I went this route also. Happy shredding!
-
Hey guys! I'm on Day 12 - I just did post-level one measurements and I am down 8 inches! Keep it up. Level two is brutal but you CAN do it!

I want to be more active than my 80 year old grandfather who walks 4 miles a day :) I want to be considered a "healthy weight," for once in my life I want to surprise my grandparents when they return from Arizona after being gone for four months I want to start my new life off healthy and happy. I graduate University June…

I stare at my whiteboard which always has an inspirational saying on it. Right now it reads "You are down 17.4 pounds. When things get hard and you want to quit, take a minute and think about how AMAZING you feel at this exact moment...still worth it?" I put this up while I'm working out and it helps me push myself. Mental…

Feel free to add me. Support from others going through the same things is crucial and it has been my reason for logging in each and everyday. Let's do this!

This brought tears to my eyes as my dad had a heart attack in 2009. Luckily he was given a second chance to change his life and he has done just that. He is my inspiration. It truly is possible! Whether we have to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds, we can do it!
-
No problem! It really does do the trick :)

I do agree that the repetitiveness is difficult because I find that I dread certain moves more when I know what's coming. That being said, I did the first 10 days of Level 1 and am starting Level 2 tomorrow so I've been sticking to it. I find that because I know what she says, I know how much longer I'm going to have to…

Feel free to add me! I started MFP January 2nd and have logged in every day since then. I am 100% committed. Let's do this!

Add me :) I'm 22 and started at 189! I'm now 171.8 so let's do this together.

Hey guys! I'm on Level 1 Day 6. The side lunges are BRUTAL but I find that my shoulders are dying. I use 3 pound weights for some and 5 pound weights for others (like the chest moves). I'm in class right now and my measurements are at home but my starting weight for 30 Day Shred is 172.4. I would love to join you guys!

I think as long as you record the right measurement (if you measured 3oz COOKED pasta, make sure you don't select 3oz UNCOOKED pasta), then it shouldn't matter. I usually measure my food cooked and many foods I measure in "cups," but if it's fish, meat, potatoes, etc. I always measure it cooked. Hope that helps!

Great job!!! That truly is amazing. Be proud of yourself :)!
