I usually have a "eat what I want night" on fridays evenings. this is the day I weigh in and cheat!! LOL I do feel like it keeps me grounded, and also makes me realize how eating healthy makes me feel so much better than all the high fat foods.

I have lost 18 lbs. and dont notice as far as how big I look, but, I do notice in the way my clothes fit

great encouraging story. thanks so much for taking the time to share with us. I need to lose 100 lbs. and only down 18 thus far. when I read stories like yours it keeps me motivated.

I need to lose 100 pounds also! girl, you can do it one day at a time. it is easy to let ourselves go but the great thing is, is that we realize we need to make changes. :)

first off, don't give up! I am new to this site andd just started my weight loss journey Jan 6th. look how far you have come, 46 lbs. is amazing!

what a great motivation! when people are over weight it is hard to jump into a extreme exercise regimen because it is not only hard on their joints but it is also discouraging when one can't keep up with the others in the group! so,, walking is the best way to start shedding those pounds and getting use to exercising.

welcome to myfitnesspal. I am new as well. I started my weight loss journey jan 6th, but started this site 2 days ago. haven't shed any lbs. yet but will have 1st weigh in on friday. congrats on your 70lb. weight loss, that is a huge accomplishment!!!

I started drinking the Celestial green tea in the morning rather than coffee. I put splenda in it and it is wonderful.

Ok, to add to that. I am overweight and want to know if walking will firm that innner thigh area as I loose the weight.

I tried Zumba but could not keep up, I can see where it would burn many calories.
