Thanks folks, it seems to be working okay. Seemed to take 10 min to start moving for some reason but ok now. X

Well done, this type of lifestyle change should be applauded by your doctor. I wish more people had the confidence and conviction to take such excellent control of their health. X

Having coeliac affects your ability to absorb iron which has a massive effect on your energy levels. It will take a while (100% gluten free as you mentioned) to get your iron stores up (1-2 months), a liquid iron supplement may help without the effects (constipation/bloating) you might otherwise experience from a pill form…

Ahoier, my fitbit gives me 600 kcal for only 3000 steps, does this seem like a lot? I'm 74kg.

Good start! I want to lose around 25lbs. Just getting back on it, lack of exercise has been my downfall lately. Ready and willing with my new Fitbit.... Shame about this headache/throat infection! I need to get to the gym! Add me!

Interesting, I've only done 3182 steps ( couldn't get to the gym as I have a headache and symptoms of a throat infection brewing!) and its given me over 600kcal adjustment. Perhaps its my weight? I weigh 74 kg (163 lbs).

Great job!!

Welcome back and ditto!! Back again. Let's get on with this... Small achievable goals and support with setbacks. It's all about the organisation for me, food prep and gym stuff in a bag before bedtime for the next day.

Let's do this!! Ready to forego the Christmas excess to start 2014 feeling good.
