For a 140lb person: Level 1 -> 148 calories Level 2 -> 169 Level 3 -> 159 I got that info from the jillian michaels website. I also don't understand why level 3 burns less calories than level 2....

I wore my HRM when I went to Knott's (also walked around that length of time). It said I burned around 1200 calories. I'm 5'3" and was about 233lbs when I went. Maybe that helps? Either way, its activity, so good job!!
