  • Thank you all for the encouraging words and advice! I am starting my training next week and am really excited! I did look into the C25K website, thank you!! I'll be posting my progress as I go along!
  • I'd suggest sticking to what you can recognize in the database. You can't be sure of the calorie content when you don't know exactly how much fat you really are consuming.. I personally have a hard time justifying eating pork products, roasts, ribs, chops...As well as roast beef and the like... It seems the calorie content…
  • I update mine once a week on my weigh days, as well as update my MFP. I don't know that you'd need to update it more often as 1-2 lbs. won't have HUGE effect on your calories burned.. Though, missing it for 10 lbs. obviously would have more of an effect.
  • I agree with a couple posters. I honestly believe that 1 hour or cardio, like a treadmill is definitely enough for one day. If you feel you want to do more, add in some strength training or yoga so you don't get burnt out! Also, be sure you're fueling your body for all of the calories you are burning and give yourself a…
  • I started with Wii Active and later bought the Biggest Loser. I LOVE IT! What works for me is to do the 30 day challenge of WiI Active, then 2-3 weeks of Gold's Gym Cardio (boxing) and then 2-3 weeks of Biggest Loser workouts. This way I don't get burnt out of one workout.. I know our Blockbuster has BL - maybe rent before…
  • Keep up the positive attitude - you can do it!! MFP is a great place to document and log all your calories and exercise. There are a lot of great people here for support and you can make some great friends (and followers!). Best of luck to you!
  • I agree with the other posters - if you are truly documenting your intake you are not eating enough calories especially if you are exercsing 6 x a week. Another thing that I noticed - You like "bars". You really should be careful about meal replacement/snack replacement bars as sometimes they are LOADED with sugar and…
  • All fruits are good as they all contain a variety of necessary nutrients. Though, with fruit you are right - they are higher in calories due to the natural sugars. Bananas are good for potatssium and vitamins A, B & C. You might try cutting the sugar/carb count with a protein would be better than eating the banana alone.…

  • You are SO not alone!!! I have lost over 30 lbs. by cutting most ALL of my fast food including my beloved Taco Bell. Yesterday while my mom and I were out shopping for new clothes to fit my shrinking body, we stopped for Taco Bell. Of course, the bad day didn't stop there. I got that stupid thought "Well, I screwed up now.…
