I did just reply to you status but wanted to add more here. If you're close to the weight you want to be but still have that roll, it might be down to your diet. A calorie deficit will help you to lose fat but clean eating will help you to take it a step further.

Lift weights. Read this: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/

In that case, check your food. Exercise doesn't contribute to weight loss as much as we might think (damn!). Make sure you weigh everything properly and are accurately tracking everything you eat. Open up your food diary, there are loads of people on here who can tell you where you're going wrong.

I'm going through the same. Professional help might be an idea. Firstly, consider why you're bingeing. Is there an emotional trigger? I found that arguments with my boyfriend would trigger a binge so I avoided those situations (not always possible but we're getting better). If I knew a binge was imminent, I could go out…

Stick at it. Your weight can fluctuate on a day-to-day basis. Like Jestinia said, a new routine can make you put on water weight. See if you've lost weight in two weeks and go from there. Your body just takes a little time to adjust. How long have you been exercising and tracking your calorie intake?

This will work to a point. Get used to cutting your calories then start thinking about getting better quality calories. You'll be fuller if you eat better food so don't get disheartened if you 'eat what you want' within your calories and don't feel you're getting enough food. You'll just need to start thinking about…

I'm 170lbs and 5'7". It's hard to compare stuff like this because it really depends on how hard you work out. I get about the same, perhaps a little less, from the 30 Day shred. A 30 minute walk-run (although more running than weeks 1/2 of C25K) burns about 350 cals. ETA: If you're worried it's too high then perhaps just…

I'd say stay as you are for now. Perhaps cut out mayo. If you're still losing body fat then don't worry about it. Healthy fats like you're eating are actually really good for you. Fat doesnt make us fat.

Thanks all! Sort of getting a bit excited about working out tonight. It's going to be hard but it's going to hurt so good.

Mine were deleted too. Wear a bikini. I would've done if I had one...

Bravo, sir. You are an inspiration.

I have the same problem. On the days where you work out just add 1-2 protein shakes into your diet. They'll help you to build muscle and for your body to cope with the exercise. I use Kinetica whey protein. It's about 127 cals per scoop and you can mix it with water or milk (or frozen yoghurt and berries). Two of those…

Thanks all, will get myself onto YouTube. Clean and Jerk sounds about right for the other exercise. I'll look it up, then I'll know. As for calf exercises. I have calf extensions (what you described) on my list of exercises for tonight. Just not sure what weight to use.

Great arms. I'm just about there now with not being scared to get my arms out in a sleeveless dress but I'm a little way away from the gun show!
-
Wow. Unbelievable. I bet you are so proud!
-
Looking good! You can definitely tell, the difference in your face is amazing.

If you are going to have wine go with red. Yes it's higher in calories than white but it also has some health benefit too. Anti-oxidants etc.

There are so many tattoos I want in addition to my nine! I want a feather on my ribs and a half-sleeve/back piece. Both only when I'm down to a sexy weight! I'd also love something on my hip. Perhaps the words 'The purpose of music is to release us from the tyranny of conscious thought.'

This brought a tear to my eye. Go you. Well done for looking awesome and being in control of your life!

I'm going to start tonight too! Stats: Weight: 182 Waist: 34 Stomach: 37 Hips: 42 Arms: Will measure when I get home, I have no idea! Thighs: 24 Body fat: 35%

Woah. Maybe that's why my lower back, particularly around my tailbone is always so sore...

You need calories dense foods. Any nuts or beans (even the cheap ones.) Avocados are good. Avoid non fat foods and instead go for low fat (even full fat if your calories and fat macro can handle it!) Cheese! Meat. Beef is fairly high in calories and has all that glorious protein. I would suggest steak but that's fairly…

I like green tea. There are some blends, like Tea Pigs' Yerba Mate, that is supposed to be amazing for weight loss. I drink it because I like it without milk, unlike normal tea. So it's zero calories! I think the other health benefits and the fact that a lot of people seem to think it aids weight loss is a good enough…

There's something very special about getting to that point in running. Sometimes I can do it and just run and run but most of the time but head kicks in tells me I'm knackered! Well done!
-
I can definitely relate to this. Instead of slowing to a walk when I get tired I just slow my pace down. I can run 5k (with a tiny bit of walking) in about 35 minutes now! Well done you! It's always great when you get to that 'yeah I can push a bit further' stage!

This is the perfect example of how muscle takes up less space than fat at the same weight. Amazing work! You're an inspiration.

I'm not a nutritionist but you could be getting these symptoms because you don't have the right nutrients in your new diet. Perhaps try taking multi-vitamins. If that doesn't work then it might be best to see a doctor who can help you through the addiction.
-
Good on you! Congrats on the weight loss. I think people comment because they don't believe it can be done easily. If someone has successfully lost a lot of weight and is in the normal range for their height then they must've done something drastic to get there! You look good but, for some, the difference in your larger…

I have my oats with water! Thanks everyone for your advice. I need to work out a better meal plan for next week. Better snacks, more veggies!
