Hi. I've been here for over 3 years and have remained relatively committed to logging. I slipped a bit within the last 6 or so months and the scale reflected it. However, I keep coming back ~ I will not give up on me! Good luck to you (and to me)! :smile:

Hello and Welcome! MyFitnessPal has been an effective tool for me in my journey to good health. I've tried a multitude of other programs, diets, etc. This has worked the best. Wow ~ his belly must be perfect for him to feel comfortable making such a judgmental statement. Shake it off and focus on you. Your work toward You should be only about You; i.e., you've got to learn to disregard his rude remarks, since he apparently doesn't know how to filter.

So, since 225, have you lost inches at all in your belly? I'm guessing yes. Toning takes time and will take maintenance. If you think it's all crap, then you always have the option to quit. What will quitting do for you? You are not alone - it's July and I'm still trying to shed the several holiday pounds I gained. Just keep showing up, logging everything, water, exercise, fruits, veggies. We can lose the weight - if we really want to.
