I'm trying to do 1200 calories a day. It's a struggle - breakfast is usually a piece of fruit, but most lunches and dinners are ok. Weightwatchers has some good recipes for 400-500 calories per main meal.

Don't just think about the actual weight loss, I'm finding lots of little successes such as feeling healthier, being able to exercise more and clothes looking a bit better. And each of those little things helps to motivate me.

That's a great victory. I think the NSVs are better at times than just judging the weight.

My goals for August: 1. Lose at least 6lbs 2. Swim every day and work out every other day 3. Swim 75 lengths on days without workouts and 50 on days with It's not much, but if I build up my stamina and energy I can be more ambitious in September...
