Walking would be a great start; you need to burn calories to shrink your stomach. Squats will help with your butt.

Increase your calories. I've been logging in to MFP for years & was following the recommended 1200. I lost initially & then plateaued for a YEAR. I increased my calories to a couple hundred extra a day & am happy to report I lost another 12 after that!

All the girl scouts I ran across offered the option of buying & donating to soldiers overseas. So far I've bought 6 boxes, none for me!

It sounds like you need a nutritionist. Your skin & energy levels will improve if you lose eating healthy foods - it sounds like you were going about it by not eating? Don't give up, just find a new route. Your body needs fuel!

I make "egg white muffins" & have them for about 3 days. Egg whites (equivalent of 8), veggies, 3 tbsp salsa - mix it all together & bake til they are finished. Make sure they are completely cooled off before you store them in the fridge to avoid sogginess. Easy for on-the-go.

If you give up, you'll have to start over from scratch when you decide to lose weight again. Make the commitment for the lifestyle change & keep going. You don't want to be at rock bottom again.

I'm working on my masters too & for example have spent over 9 hours studying in the last 2 days. So b/n that & work & my relationship & family, my workouts have gone from 7 days a week to 3 in a good week. You can only do the best you can do though & it isn't possible to do it all!

I have this same problem as well - but I'm noticing if I eat really healthy all day (no processed food, etc), it's not as bad.
