This is something I need to over come, I haven't exercised out side because I am scared of people laughing at me. I wont go to gyms for the same reason.

Our doctors have a specialist . Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. The didn't have any appts yesterday but I will try again on monday, I was wondering if it could be do with work as well, as I am a carer and I am kneeling alot.

cycling doesn't seem to effect my knees, I used to cycle every weekend for hours at a time. It would only be gentle cycling as I am not going to make it worse. I can't swimming strongly and feel like I look like an idiot when trying to swim so I don't do it. Might look into some water aerobics classes tho.

The thing that worries me is if I give up on this I will give up all together. I might get back on my bike, I can't afford the gym yet because I haven't been paid from work yet, even though I have been working 3 months lol!

I only log housework I do in clients houses (i am a carer) as I see it as extra to what I use to do. :smile:

It does keep me on my toes but doesn't seem enough to help the weight come off. I lost 1 stone 4 months ago and put it all back on, that was with slimming world, I just don't seem good with diets, plus they never seem to loose the inches too... so now I am changing my life style, healthy eating and exercising. I am 5ft 4 and would like to be 130. when I get there I will see how I feel and how much more I would like to loose.

I tend to have a day or two off as when its my TOM I can end up in bed curled in a ball!! Maybe do the step thing on wii fit if you have one. I find moving helps more with the cramps but its just getting up and going!
