  • Started week 3 today. I went in the evening and had less energy. But I did ot and feel good now. Back to mornings an Friday.
  • Today was going to be day 3 of week 2 for me. The 2nd interval of running felt good so I decided to rollwith it and ran for a stretch of 10 1/2 minutes straight. It felt surprisingly good. Starting week 3 on Tuesday.
  • Hi! I ran 2 races last fall after doing this program. I gained some weight and running began to hurt. I have been losing weight by doing the 30 DS. I have a couple weeks left but am excited about running again. Love the C25k program and the support groups on MFP.
  • Last year I successfully did the couch to 5k program. It felt so good. I ran 2 5k runs last fall. I plan on starting the couch to 5k program again after the 30 DS. Maybe we could start a group. :) The best part about the program is that it stretches the training out so it starts easy and progresses nicely.
  • This sounds silly, but this am there was an airconditioner box in the living room where I usually do my workout so I went walking outside this am and jogged too. I will do level 2 this afternoon. Just want to share my experience before Jillian and what it is like for me to run again starting today. Last year I began…
  • It is hard for me to find motivation with the humidity. I skipped a day yesterday and thought that I was making some good food choices until I logged them in at the end of the day. I found my motivation for this morning. So I began today with jillian's workout.
  • I am still recording it as circuit training but there is no way it is burning the same number of calories as level1. I have never sweater so much in a long time. I know 12 days ago I would have turned the video off as soon as the walking push us started. Today tjeyare my favorite part of the videobecause I can actually do…
  • 1st day at level 2 completed. It was hard. I don't want to hear the word plank until tomorrow. LOL! I will be better coordinated by the end of level 2. I got good results with level 1 so I am hoping for good results from level 2. Everything fits better, I like to exercise before my day begins with my kids (so I can focus…
  • I missed a day yesterday and got back into it today and it felt good to do it today. I can totally see how my movements are different now and I am able to do advanced movements rather than all the beginner exercises. Even the bicycle abs which were so difficult for me. I am still at the modified push ups, but I need to…
  • Had to skip today due to substituting unexpectedly. Tomorrow I have to get up early and get back into it.
  • Day 4 done. I feel good and am I crazy or am I really noticing results so far. My legs are toned and places that I noticed that were getting flabby are a bit more tight (thankfully). I am using the calorie counter and watching what I eat too (portion control and really thinking about calories). I also notice that the…
  • Today my favorite part was when she would mention that it is only 20 mintues and basically said to push through it, suck it up, and finish. That got me through the workout. It was more difficult to get up and do it today. But I did it and hope that in 30 days it will be part of my everyday routine to get up and do a…
  • I think that I answered this. I logged it as circuit training.
  • Being the queen of excuses, I had a good one and was tempted to leave the group. Woke up an hour early today and started a load of wash so there wasn't anything to distract me (no kids, couldn't shower, etc.). I feel good (and sore ;) ). The hardest part for me was knowing that 5 years ago before I had kids I would have…
  • Hi! I have had the intention of starting this a long time ago. This group will be my motivation to actually do it. :)
  • I was just thinking of Sweating to the Oldies the other day when I was dancing to Just Dance For Kids on Wii with my kids! I remember doing it when I was younger. I wonder if my mom has hers still? Have fun!
