I am eating every 2 to 3 hours. 3 snacks 3 meals. 800 cals is not enough, no wonder you're hungry. Your body needs fuel to burn fuel. Anything under 1200 is not healthy. Pounds melted off when I increased my calorie goal. Good luck.

Hello, I am currently maintaining. When I reached my goal weight I was at 1300 cals. I waited a month then increased to 1400, just recently increased to 1500. I think it is best to do it gradually. I'm adding 100 every month to give my body plenty of room to adjust & for me to monitor to make sure I'm not gaining weight. I…

I agree with above comment. I do work night shift, I have to preplan my meals. I do entire week on Sundays. Great luck.

Hi, sweetie, welcome to MFP. You were placed on 1200 calorie plan because of your input on how much weight you wanted to lose a week. You can easily change that to 1lb a week. I started off on 1200 cals, it became not enough. I've increased it 3 xs since then. Don't be afraid if you may need to incease caloric intake. I…

Hello, I am currently maintaining. I was on a 1200 cal plan to start, then bumped to 1320 lasted one day went up to 1400. MFP wants to up me to 1800 cals, I didn't want to do that drastically. Imagine how much weight I would gain going from 1400 to 1800 suddenly. So, I increase cals by 100 every month so it can slowly…

Sorry to say sweetie, the obsession doesn't change once you reach your goal. I am currently 7 lbs under my goal and the obsession is still there. I'm afraid if I let up I will gain the weight back. I'm getting it under control so I can enjoy life again. I needed balance. There are definetly far worse obsessions to have, at…

Good job, Health Nut! Take that title! It's takes a lot of dedication to not eat what's being served. Awesome job! You made me smile today.

Change your exercise plan. I had to increase by 10 mins or speed weekly to continue to see results. Your body gets accustomed to routine. I also had to increase vegetable, fruit, and water intake. In time, I also had to increase cals. I started doing more so my body cried out for more. I love to challenge myself..I say I…

It's totally normal. Even before or during that TOM. Water intake and sodium are things to take in account. You should also weigh in the same time and day each week. Which I disobey, I check daily. Good luck.

Hi. Listen to your body if you are still hungry, eat. I don't consume all of my exercise cals. I may do 50%. With that said, I have had to increase my cal intake 3 times since starting MFP, by doing that I lost more. I also had to increase my workout time or speed reguarly to continue to see results. Your body gets use to…

5'2". Add me.

I agree. You may need to increase cals and increase your workout. When I was losing I had to increase workouts weekly, either speed or time. Your body gets used to the same routine. Gotta up-it sometimes to get weight loss back into gear. Keep up the good work. Don't let it discourage you. Believe me it happens to all of…

Maintaining as well. Add me!

I am 6 lbs below my goal. I have not yet changed my cals to maintenance. I just gradually increased to 1400. I'm going to increase after a month to 1500. I believe I can maintain, and not gain a tone of weight, as long as I incorporate what I have learned. Healthier food choices and regular exercise is the key. I worked…

Plannining meals ahead is the key. You can incorporate healthy things you have at home. I sometimes crave things, there are low cal recipes on blogs on MFP. I have to research to find things that are easy and have products I normally have in my pantry. I shop at dollar stores to get my frozen fruits and veggies. I can help…

I started at 1200. It was fine when I started. I recently had to manually increase to 1400 because it put me at 1320 (which still wasn't enough). I agree, I now have more energy and don't go to sleep/wake up hungry. It's not for everybody.

Dieter's tea. Be ready cause that works within hours.

Yay! Girlie, I am crying tears of joy. It feels so good to see progress! It feels even better when our pals do! I am extremely happy for you. Great job! Also that you don't have an obsession with the scale, it has been so long since you weighed!

First of all congrats on the huge loss! Awesome job on your part! You need to feel good about yourself, is it normal not to? Yes. I am currently 5 lbs under my goal. I still see flaws. I have 3 kids, 3 c-sections, and my appedix removed. I have accepted some areas will not be as they were when I was 20. With each milestone…

Wow! You look AWESOME! A totally different person from when you started. Congratulations!

I agree you have to do things your body is not accustomed to doing. Before I would walk on the treadmil, bike, and elliptical. Which stopped working. I had to incorporate running and strength training. I also had to either increase my speed and/or time weekly. Once I did that, I was losing quite a bit weekly. After time I…

I think you can do it. Ditto, I eat sandwich meat and oatmeal daily and have lost. Not all sandwich meat is bad unless its bologna. I buy roasted chicken and turkey. It's good that you wrote your goals down, so you have a reminder. I do agree also with consuming more cals if need be. If your goal is working for you, don't…

MFP won't allow it. It is not healthy to lose more than 1lb per week. It also isnt healthy to consume less than 1200 cals/day. When I was losing, by increasing my cal intake made the pounds melt off. I started at 1200 and manually increased them slightly.

Wow congratulations! 4 days is huge! Starting and having motivation to start is a big accomplishment. Happy for you. Good job & keep it up.

Well, since I've known about it in advance. I'm eating whatever I want. I was at my goal weight, and decided to lose 5 lbs under to prepare. But, if not, I would still pig out. Hell, Thanksgiving is distance from Christmas, so I would still have time to work it off before the next holiday. But think about it. We are all…

Oh yes! I don't think you completly overcome, you just learn to deal. I had to start loving myself, it's a self esteem issue. Seeing food as a friend not an enemy. If you have an ED, it is not healthy to lose weight without consulting a doctor. Of course you're going to want to lose more, but they want you at a healthy…

Weekends are difficult. I plan my meals for the whole week ahead of time. That way when I get hungry or crave, I just pull up my diary. I know I may want salty or sweet, that's also apart of my meal plan. I enjoy special k 90 calories chips and treats. Frozen yogurt, fat free pudding, sugar free jello, low calorie muffins,…
