Please don't take this offensively, because I don't want to sound mean at all. On your profile, you're striving for a goal weight of 100 pounds. If you're trying to recover, that shouldn't be your goal. And if you're trying to stay anorexic, then you'll be hard pressed to find people on here willing to support you.

I really hope you can make a recovery and start feeling good about your body.

yeah 100 pounds is not enough for someone who is 5 feet 5 inches. your short term goal is much more realistic and quite frankly would be more beautiful.

Oh yes! I don't think you completly overcome, you just learn to deal. I had to start loving myself, it's a self esteem issue. Seeing food as a friend not an enemy. If you have an ED, it is not healthy to lose weight without consulting a doctor. Of course you're going to want to lose more, but they want you at a healthy weight. You've got to want to be healthy. You have to realize the final of effect of having an ED if untreated is death. We all have people who want us around for a long time and love us. They should mean more to us than a mind controlling ED. You have to stop and think about who's more important. And what your absence would do to your family. Good luck on your journey and may God be with you. We are friends, I just saw your post and wanted to respond. I am here for you. I'm still dealing with mine, I refuse to let it overtake me. I have too much to live for. I am happier now.
