Keep working insanity does help ALOT! I've found staying off the scale is the best way to stay motivated. I may weigh myself once a month.

Thanks everyone, makes sense to me, I actually get. Love the baseball/feather example.
-
Yes, that makes sense. I kinda figured that. My body def. looks different; just kinda sucks when you get on the scale after a month and you back to your starting weight.

The shoes you displayed look very heavy too me. Research Bare Foot running shoes; trust me I had a lot of problems with running, and you will be amazed how something small like changing your shoes, make a huge different. Also check out a book called "The beginning Runner's handbook." Good Luck.

1. Try a good pair of running shoes,(example: Nike free, or bare foot running shoes) 2. run on the balls of your feet, or mid strike. 3. Walk before you can run, then walk/run, and before you know it you will be able to run with a lot more ease. Hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat also; but I actually like that I'm loosing the inches more, because that's where it's at to me. I figure once the weight starts to come off it will come off fast. Only lost a total of 8 lbs. so far; but I'm good with that, because I can see huge difference in my body.

"I'm going to cut way back on the alcohol, try to spread my calories out more thoughout the day and try to increase water and decrease diet soda". You just answered your own question. Stay off the scale, Try only weighing yourself once a week or every two weeks. Don't rely on the scale to see your progress. Less stress…

Communications is the only way, Bring up everything you just posted. Sometimes ppl don't know they are doing something wrong until it's communicated to them. These sound like issues that can be worked out, if you want to work them out, and come to a compromise; but if your just not that into him, communicate that to him…
