Sometimes it's very hard, especially when I want something sweet after dinner. I've found that chewing gum can help. I also discovered DELICIOUS goldfish crackers in a vanilla cupcake flavor. 46 of them have 140 calories and 5 g of fat - well worth it on those evenings I just have to eat something sweet.

I've only been doing the 30DS for three days, and the past couple I have tacked on some additional exercise after. This has more to do with the fact that I don't feel like I get enough out of the 30DS because I'm still building up my endurance - especially for the pushups and jumping jacks :-). That's how long mine is, and I use a headband. Goody makes a comfortable one where the ends are curved. I can wear it all day without any pain. However, I should mention that I don't run. My workouts consist mainly of the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs.

I don't know what brand our scale is, but I would definitely go digital. I think they make life much easier. Meijer had a good selection when we bought ours. I also have the Polar FT7 HRM.
