Good luck in your marathon! I ran 3 today because I started P90X with 2 of the coaches at the high school today. It really kicked my a** and I thought I was in pretty good shape:grumble:

It was a beautiful day here in Texas, I ran a leisurely 5 miles.

I did 6.2, felt great for the first time this week, hams are still tight but hopefully the stretching will eventually relieve it. If you have any suggestions let me hear it!

Glad to hear it's not just me. It does seem strange that it hasn't ever happened before and I've been running for nearly a year now. Well, I'm off to run I hope they loosen up!

I do weights first and then cardio, have been for a year and a half and been very successful.

That's awesome, it's difficult enough to run without pushing anything. I just "joined" myself a week or two ago. It was explained to me that this is just a thread to chat and encourage each other. No specific goals or requirements which is perfect for me I have enough things to keep up with! Welcome:smile:

I ran 3 miles today. I am planning on 7 tomorrow. For some reason, the back of my legs, hamstrings?? are really tight and almost hurt to stretch them. What gives????????

I think I would run twice a day if I had a treadmill at home, that way I wouldn't have an excuse in the morning: too early, too cold, too........
