My mini-goal is to lose 5 lbs before I turn 50 at the end of the month. I'm already down 3.8 according to the scale. This is my first mini-goal of many to come.

I do a 14/10 fast. I did some research and found some information that suggested this one to be better for women. It has really helped me recognize my hunger signals. I use IF in conjunction with CICO and I've found good success so far. Almost 20 lbs down since January!

You can try different fasting windows. I do 14/10, my husband does 16/8. These seem to work for us fairly well. I think the best thing to do is see what works for you.

I read somewhere that the capsule contained a type of fiber. I figure if fiber is the way to increase feelings of fullness, there are all kinds of foods naturally high in fiber and even Metamucil that have to be better than something dreamed up in a lab. But, to each his own.

Good morning all! I'm just a few weeks out from 46 and am back on track to finally get to my goal weight this year. I've been meal prepping since January and it seems to work wonders for me in regard to portion and calorie control. Here's to eating and feeling better! (oh, and I'm totally down for new recipes!)

I drink one or two diet pops per day because I like it. Coke Zero is my preferred drink. I also drink water, but usually flavor one or two bottles with Wyler's light lemonade singles. I just don't care for plain water unless I'm working out or have a seriously powerful thirst.

Instead of starting out at any kind of deficit, why don’t you just log what you normally eat for a week? Afterwards, you’ll have a visual which can help you determine where you can swap out certain foods for better choices and see where you might want exercise portion control.
