I think something for me is a fear if what I would expect of myself if I hit my goal. Also a fear that I'll get unwell if I eat to deficit... A close family member has type 1 diabetes which due to complications is and was when I was growing up very difficult to control. Lack of food therefore meant hypo, illness and panic…

My starting weight is much lower than yours and I can lose at 1400 per day with no exercise so think you might need to re consider your intake. I'm only starting out so no expert though so I maybe wrong

Yep me too... It often takes me over my kcal goal. Going to try the tips about and save kcal for that especially. Oddly if I go to the gym I'm not v hungry at bed time but then wake up starving about 1.00am!

Phew this post is making me feel saner... I'm 5lb up at the moment. I feel huge...massive tummy and hating it . I've not been this big for over a year :-( Not had a TOTM for 5 years due to mirena coil which just had out so sfter reading the above posts really really hoping that's what it's down to!

Don't eat light before.. Been there done that... Alcohol on a fairly empty stomach is recipe for feeling sick and a HUGE hangover. Just eat as usual before, stick to lower kcal drinks and dance off as many kcal as you can! :-)

I'm 5'2 currently 123, aiming for 115 but finding losing and maintaining that loss tough so far.

So far I've gained :-( Had mirena out for 3 weeks and hunger has been through the roof. Still waiting for proper totm and hoping after that I'll lose this weight.

Life's about balance; if your life is dominated by food and exercise to the detriment of other important areas I personally feel that's 'disordered' if it meets criteria for mental health diagnosis or not

If you look at posts here the mirena works for some but not for others. It's still hormones and even though they say it's only local it still has lots of side effects of which weight gain can be one. I've just had mine removed , it didn't impact on my weight but I had other side effects I was sick of. I think all…

As my last post I had mine out on Thursday... Immediately I had a really odd squishy cushion of a belly I was so bloated, the next day I was cramping and felt quite fragile but was ravenous. Today the bloat has gone and physically I feel quite light inside but I'm still hoovering up huge portions and still feeling hungry…

Pencil skirt & loose floaty blouse? A line dress Bright skirt/ skinny jeans ( to draw attention to your slim legs etc) looser dark tops (to minimise muffin top)

I've just had my mirena removed (24hours ago) and really bloated (really not usual for me). Anyone got any advice on how long this will last I feel really yuk. Thanks Cat
