Are you kidding?? We all know how hard it can be; especiallt those first few! This is absolutely a big success!!! Hopefully this will give you the motivation to keep going and going. You might feel daunted by how much you want to lose but it's much easier if you can break it into bite-sized, manageable goals of a pound or…

Hi and good luck :flowerforyou: Not new here but starting again. Got lazy/greedy and had commitments more important than myself so had to take a break for a while but back on it as of this week. Feel free to add me

I switched to something alcoholic but lower in calories. I was exactly the same and would sometimes have 3 glasses after a particularly stressful day! Along with the inevitable hangover next morning... I love Jack Daniels too but always tell myself it's too expensive. Now I buy a big bottle for £20 and try to make it last…

Haha this made me think of an old Harry Enfield sketch when Wayne and Waynetta Slob want to have a cond-versation

Borrow and lend. As in: "can I lend a fiver?" "Can you borrow me a fiver?" Grrr Mucus Phlegm  Am I the only person who associates the word moist with cakes??

The snack bar sounds yummy! Now I wish I had some almonds in stock lol. This is a brilliant site for working backwards: http://www.supercook.com/ Just put in the ingredients you have and pick a recipe from the database. Simples

Sent you a friend request  I'm not always great at keeping up to date but I'm good for a natter  I was a single mum for the majority of my boys' childhoods so I know it can be tough but you'll do it!! And breastfeeding helps lose loads of weight :flowerforyou:

My kids have always been able to ask me or hubby anything, we're very open. Not that I don't get a wee bit embarrassed talking about some things but I think that if they're interested they're best off knowing the facts. It's got us into some trouble a few years ago with me being called into school on two occasions. The…

I'm the same as you. It's kind of annoying when you're worried about what the scales say and yet everyone around you is saying "15 stone? Surely not!" etc etc. We're just built to a slightly larger scale. I do hate my man-shoulders but once I'm back down to a size 12 I shall be showing them off at every opportunity

Eek - glad we don't have Thanksgiving in UK. Especially as I tend to be the family host for these things (and also the hoover for the leftovers...). My birthday's in November though, as well as hubby's and the eldest in Oct and little un in December, so I do have boxes of chocolates, birthday cakes and meals out to…

Morning MPFers  Ooh I keep looking at this! I'm a member at DW too but haven't quite plucked up the courage to attend any classes yet. Please let us know how it goes and good luck  Oops edit: was quoting Ironsmasher but it didn't include the name...

Morning all :drinker: <- me with my morning coffee (re some people talking about shredding that I forgot to quote...) I've given up on the shred for now  I found level 2 just too harsh on the knees, even though I tried to take it easy. I was having to take 2 days off in between to let my knees recover each time. Such…

Ooh me! Me! Pick me! Hello! 30 yr old mum of 2. I work for a housing association and feel like I am wasting my gym membership.... Er, I'm sure there's more but I'm nodding off already. Nice to meet all you lovely English peeps :flowerforyou:

Hi and welcome  Good luck!

We had pulled chicken for dinner last night (and I'm munching on leftovers for breakfast right now lol) Not quick but at least it can last more than one meal  How about chicken wraps? Bit of salad (I love spinach at the moment!) and some light mayo and Bob's your uncle!

Some people are just unlucky and sweat a lot. I'm one and always keep a deodorant in my drawer at work! I find Mitchums is the best that you can find in the supermarket... You can see what your doctor says about it. If it's a recent thing maybe it's something to do with a diet/lifestyle change? I've done some minor online…

That's definitely not a fail! 30DS is bloody hard work! I did get through my first couple of workouts but was so out of shape that I was in serious pain climbing stairs for the first 3 days lol. Well done to you for trying! It might be better for you if you tried to do the whole workout the easy way and try to do all of…

My other half has started teaching my boys (10 and 12) how to fight! He's just started cage fighting and loves it. Both of us were slightly worried about my eldest starting secondary school as we thought he might get picked on so my best beloved has taught both boys how to fight and defend. We constantly tell them that…

Thanks! I've wondered about about this with mine as he flinches when you tell him 'no:!' but does it again almost straight away! And I saw a post above about food allergies. This just didn't occur to me, thank you! I've been buying the chicken type foods a lot but will deffo be cutting them out in future!

Thanks for advice peoples  I know this wasn't my thread but lots of good advice on here!! Appreciate it!

Mine gets walks. Not always very long ones but he gets out every day. He has free access to the garden too most of the time. I've tried buying him toys you can hide food in to try keep him occupied when we're not there. Do you think its boredom?
