  • UPDATE: I do NOT have Meneire's so I was told to go back to eating normal. A few pounds have come back. It has recently been discovered that my pulse goes up when my vestibular system is provoked. I'm wondering if I should go back to low-sodium but not as restricted as I was.
  • I do have some other undiagnosed medical issues as well as hypothyroidism. Sprained my ankle over 3yrs ago & have had swelling in that foot & ankle ever since. Had tonsillectomy last May because of obstructive sleep apnea. Lost 15lbs during that recovery & gained it all back pretty quick. :-( It seems like the foods with…
  • @yarwell - I'm not following any marketed diet plan. As I stated, the 50g or less of carbs comes from advice of my brother-in-law. My question is very straight forward.
  • I don't intend to fully going back to cramming a bunch of carbs in me....that would be lots of junk food. I will stick with my low carb bread, lower carb peanut butter, healthier pasta, etc (none of which I will eat this week). I'm still gonna try to limit my carbs after this week, just not to 50 or under. And the 50 or…
  • I seen the add for this too & I'm curious. Though I do have some fat to shed, that's not why I'm curious. I have what's called "diastasis recti" as a result of my last 2 pregnancies. My abs are severely separated & the connective tissue isn't strong enough to "hold things in" well. So I LOOK preggo even though I'm not. And…
  • So no one's tried this???
  • Thanks for the input!!! I will certainly stay away from it! Too many problems with my body already. :-(
  • Even if the stuff does work, & you loose weight that fast, wouldn't you have a bunch of loose hanging skin??? How would you get rid of that??? Thanks to my last two pregnancies, I have what's called "diastisis recti" of the abdominals. The muscles aren't where they are s'pose to be. I had purchased a splint that over time,…
  • So no one else has this problem, huh?
  • I painted my bedroom this summer & although It can be hard work & although it can make you sweat, I wouldn't count it as exercise. If you really wanted to, you could put in walking upstairs for using the ladder but it ain't really worth it. I wouldn't think your burning enough calories with that to really include it. I…
  • Ok, so what does "non-scale victory" mean?

  • Maybe some of them vegetarians?
  • That's how I eat on a typical day to day basis. Usually only eat out to celebrate something. And hubby takes a packed lunch to work daily.
  • Um, yeah, sorry but you can't rely on just breastfeeding to loose the baby fat. I've had two kids & breastfeed each of them for a year. I may have lost a little weight to begin with after the first one, but with the second I gained weight during his first year. I dropped down to 96lbs while preggo the first time (almost…
