Totally agree! I liked it enough, I guess, but didn't understand people raving about it. Currently watching 13 Reasons Why at the insistence of my friend. Then I need to get cracking on the final season of Grace and Frankie.

Sorry, can you please explain further?

If that's a pre-cooked, microwave sachet of rice, then I'd imagine the nutritional info is for cooked. If 1 gram of carb = 4 calories, then the math doesn't add up for 140 grams of uncooked = 220 cals.

Hey, I do! I do the Build program, and love it. I was re-doing Build 1.0 but I've just switched over to the 6 week challenge to mix it up. Which program are you following in the app?

I don't hate any day, but the day I least enjoy is leg day - due to chronic knee pain. I enjoy the act of doing it, I just don't like the achiness and pain climbing stairs / holding my knee in certain positions for the following 2-3 days. (Yes, I'm under medical supervision)

Check how your lower body pulls up after a heavy legs session. I'm training for a half marathon, while maintaining most of my weight training, and I've almost entirely stopped training lower body as my legs just can't take it and it was impacting my ability to complete my long runs. My poor hammies take daaaaaays to…

I've struggled with ITBS for years, I feel your pain (quite literally, every day for like 7 years :s ) I guess it all depends on where your weaknesses are, but currently my physio has me doing: - single leg calf raises (my dodgy leg tends to roll out and I tend to push through my pinky toe, not my big toe - gotta focus on…

I'm in again! January - 1 drink February - 1 drink March - 1 drink April will be a real challenge as we're going camping in the outback, and there's lots of social things happening. Last time we went camping, I drank 9L (yes, litres) of wine in 14 days. I might set myself a limit of 2L (three bottles) and make sure hubby…

Blade Runner. I'd never seen it before. Found it pretty slow and boring, tbh! At least Harrison Ford is/was pretty.

40km charity trek in April My first half marathon in October - currently need to double the distance of my 'long runs' but I've got plenty of time.

As above - I counted calories with my last pregnancy, and followed the hospital's recommendations for calorie intake and the diet suggestions for gestational diabetes. I gained about 5kg for the whole pregnancy, my bub was a healthy 3.5kg (7lb 11oz), and by about 6 weeks postpartum I was 5kg lighter than when I conceived.…

For me, there is a difference between "shape" and "size". Previously when I've only done cardio exercise, I never changed shape, i.e. my body retained all the lumps and bumps, I was just smaller. Weights training is the only thing that has changed my body shape , and even then, we're talking slow-ish progress over years.…

Well, I had my scan, and I was *so* close to being 5kg down. Now I'm focusing on being 2kg lighter by my long distance trek in a month. And finally, being at goal by my half marathon in October.

1hr chest and biceps, then 30min quick run.

Naive Melody - Talking Heads.

Colossal. Netflix called it a quirky sci-fi comedy... it wasn't really any of those.

Well, my March is pretty much done and dusted - my doc put me on a new medication for the next 30 days, and I cannot drink alcohol while using it. Downside is my anniversary dinner at a winery in a few weeks :# I guess I'm the designated driver then!

Umbrellas. I'm convinced their pointy little tips will gouge my eyes. And balloons. I'm ok personally touching them, but if someone is playing with one and trying / pretending to pop it... I'm outta there.

After two months of almost total abstinence (only two drinks all year), I'm finding it easier and easier to say no to booze. Here's to a mostly dry March, everyone!
-
Finished off strong - one drink in February - bringing my total drinks for the year to 2.

9km run, then an upper body workout getting out of my sweaty sports bra :D

Arrival, on Netflix. Interesting but silly, drawn out ending.

Do you mean your haemoglobin levels? It's an iron-carrying protein, so eating high iron foods (or foods that help with iron absorption) would help increase your levels. My iron levels are usually borderline, but they're definitely improved since I started taking a herbal supplement with echinacea, olive leaf, vitamin C and…

Bananas. Even the smell makes me gag.

I was gonna say the same thing @mainelylisa, isn't every day national wine day?! :p I'm holding on strong - I've only one one drink this month, bringing my total to 2 drinks for the year. My brother is giving me a voucher for a liquor store though (he doesn't want it)... so this may test my resolve.

34yo Aussie mum of two here! My kids are 5yo and 2.5yo, and I'm trying (again) to lose the same 10kg I've spent the last decade losing and gaining :s I'm 5'6" and currently somewhere around 75kg (I was challenged not to weigh myself for the entirety of February and I stupidly agreed).

Listen to your gut. And give up any expectations you might have about how things will be because that's how they are for everybody. I never even considered the concept that I may not be able to breastfeed. And when my milk refused to come in, I was pumping / BFing / taking prescription drugs to help increase my milk around…

I don't discriminate, I love it all. But if I had to pick, it'd be chocolate. Anything chocolate. All the chocolate.

I'm aiming for 100% dry February here! But will be OK with only 1 or 2 single drinks if a special event pops up... kinda doubt my husband will want to do anything for Valentines but ya never know!
