I'm amazed by how many people are "surprised" at her passing... With that much work on a body... :noway:

I will have to try these!

I actually read that article, and I am so disappointed! :( we all want what we cant have lol!

A lot of them can be bad for you, especially the ones in soda. I do not mind Splenda because your body cannot absorb it. It just passes right through with no damage. I know this because not only have I used it for years and faced no consequences, but also because I took several nutrition classes while in college; almost…

If I were single I don't think I would discriminate by weight, height, race etc. I would have to be able to carry on a good conversation with them, I would kinda want them to have teeth lol, and I would need to see that they were genuine and kind. Other than that, welcome to the beautiful world of diversity that we have! I…

I am also watching my sugars and carbs (as a recommended regiment by my doctor for my PCOS). I have noticed such a difference after cutting out high sugared fruits! I do still eat berries and the occasional apple, but I stay away from bananas, watermelon, and ESPECIALLY pineapple! Do I splurge and eat some every now and…

That is AMAZING!! I hope I am able to accomplish even half of what she did!!

I agree that it is AWESOME!! I do Zumba 4x a week and I do free weights afterwards. I only do about 3 sets of 15 of each exercise. I also only do upper body because my lower body gets a TON of a workout during Zumba! I love it! It makes me feel like I am doing something that is fun AND good for me!!

How wonderful!! I think that the everyday NSV's are the things that keep this journey worth taking!! Best of luck to you!!! :flowerforyou:

The Twilight Saga :embarassed: (Just cause I liked the books, and cause my hubby LOVES making fun of Kristen Steward LOL)

I must say that many of you who are calling out the OP as "judgemental" are being just the same. And even worse, you are being immature about what, to many people, is a touchy subject. Oh but wait! That must be judgemental of me too! Well darn! Having an opinion on anything can be deemed as judgemental. At least the OP was…

way to go!! we can never stop improving in one way or another!
-
I agree with taking your measurements at this point! They will be far more fair than the scale, what with all of the training you are doing!
-
I hope you can!

Have to disagree! The digital scale my hubby and I bought was terribly inaccurate! It was constantly malfunctioning! It never added up with what we read at the Dr.'s office. We got a standard a few days ago, and it is perfect! It is a little more difficult to read, but it is totally accurate with the Dr.'s readings!

I tried this a while back, mostly for vain reasons. A couple weeks ago I went to my gyno for a yearly check up. One week later I was diagnosed with PCOS via an ultrasound. She said conceiving and carrying babies to term would be extremely difficult if I do not get my weight under control. The first day I went to the doc I…

You are truly an inspiration for those of us who tend to use stressful lives and depression as an excuse to give up. Way to go! You have me in absolute awe! I hope that I can be as dedicated as you are! I am so sincerely sorry for your loss, but I am also incredibly happy for your triumphs!

My Gyno recommended a Low Carb diet to help my with my PCOS. My insulin resistance is bad, and therefore lowering my carb intake will help with this. Or at least that is what she said. I am calling back to get further clarification. Thanks for all the help guys!!! :flowerforyou:

I looked up the Keto Diet, it seems like a good compromise. But it also sounds too good to be true lol. Increasing fat is really a good idea? And carb loading on weekends? Is this the way you follow the diet? And it has worked? Just needing some clarification that the info I am getting is correct lol. I did a bit more…
