I wouldnt run a 5k w/a waterbottle (unless it's crazy hot outside) like leanne said it's a pretty short race and you should be fine....just make sure you're hydrated before the race, grab a cup along the course (if you need it) if they have a water point and drink water/sports drink after. as far as breakfast, I normally…

I do a little bit of everything...and I get bored easily so I change up my routine every 2 or 3 weeks. Running, swimming, biking (on a regular bike and a spinning bike in the gym), Aerobics Classes, Spinning Classes, Exercise machines, freeweights, pushups, situps...

took a week off of running after the 1/2 marathon. ran 2 miles on Saturday, and 4.5 today (in the rain....I HATE running in the rain...:grumble: ) happy Monday everyone!

Unless I'm doing a really tough workout I dont eat beforehand (just some coffee) but if I'm going for a long run, or the morning of a race I'll normally have a piece of wheat toast (or a kashi wheat waffle) with some PB on it and maybe a banana.

SPAGHETTI!!!!!!!!! Put some veggies in the sauce too (I usually put zucchini/squash/carrots/big chunks of tomatos) that way you'll eat more veggies so you can put less pasta on your plate!

But it all depends on the brand- I wear a size 2 in express jeans, and a 6 in luckys! you just gotta shop around until you find the right fit (and then buy 4 pairs!!!!)

eat more? once you get to your weight that you want to stay at you dont need as much as a calorie deficit....or you'll keep losing weight...
