I wouldnt eat them back and I dont. There is too much "guesstimating" going on with workouts as others have said. Unless your training hardcore which is much more than a little run and some weights, you shouldnt eat them back. You will have better weight loss results by not doing that.

I have the same issue and I used to not count my next day till I went to bed and woke up when I worked overnights however that was a pain and now when midnight hits I just start a new day. It really shouldnt be that big of an issue because you technically should be eating the same size meals just at different times…

CHEAT days are usually considered to be eat whatever you want days.....which includes fatty, high calorie, etc, etc.....I wouldnt confuse a clean food, high intake day as a CHEAT day in the typical sense of the term.

There is nothing to recover from doing HIIT.........the whole point is to keep your heart pumping at a high level which burns more calories. Your heart does not need to "recover". Your body may be sore from the run but as soon as you stretch and start the next days HIIT run you will be fine and after about 2-3 days of it…

Your body fluctuates +-7 lbs daily from water weight alone. Did you weigh in right when you woke up? That has an effect on weight as well...time of day matters.
